The hospitality was incredible! Our stay was perfect!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Serenity and could not say enough about it! The service was incredible the entire property was clean and amazing. Our server Dillon created memorable dining experiences for us and our Butler Daniel went above and beyond to ensure we had a top notch experience. We will 100% be back again! Loved every minute of it! Great food, great service, and great company!

Truly Serene (Just Know It's Not a Beachfront Resort)

While the overall experience was positive, a few challenges—mainly related to the resort’s location, staffing level, and even noise did affect the trip. I left feeling refreshed but aware that the resort isn’t perfect for everyone. Unlike the calm, turquoise waters you might expect on the Gulf side, the beach here was rougher and less inviting. If you’re seeking a classic, serene beach vacation, this may not be the ideal destination. My wife and I had a fantastic time at Serenity. As many other reviews have stated, the food and, more importantly, the customer service are exceptional. The staff is, hands down, the friendliest we have encountered in the Caribbean (and we’ve been to 12 islands and Mexico). If you are a couple celebrating a special occasion and prioritize luxury, relaxation, and excellent service over a crystal-clear beach, you will absolutely love it here. Let me list the highs and lows of our stay. Serenity is a wonderful place for couples, especially those on their honeymoon or celebrating an anniversary. It offers unparalleled service, exceptional dining, and a tranquil, luxurious atmosphere. As long as you adjust your expectations regarding the beach and do not expect crystal clear waters, you will absolutely love the experience here. Starting with the “bad.” Location/Beach: The resort is located on the south end of the island, placing it on the Atlantic side, meaning the beach is not the clear Caribbean Sea you may be looking for. The water is brown and can be choppy. If you are looking for a beach vacation, this may not be the resort for you. Please also note that Serenity is not on the beach. You will have to walk or be driven over on golfcart to Coconut Bay beach. Staffing level: They do not have enough. The butlers have 6 rooms each, and that can be very demanding. The rest of the staffing level is worse. Often there is only one bartender at the only bar on the resort, and s/he is responsible for guests at the bar as well as guest poolside. So you often see the bartender working to serve all the guests, clean glasses and clear plates, and go back and forth to the restaurant for supplies. This all results in an over worked staff member and at times no one tending the bar, which is the only place to get food and drinks when the restaurant isn’t open or you don’t want to go to the restaurant. Furthermore, Wednesday and Friday nights are special nights on the resort with a special dinner and show that just about everyone attends. These were nights were the staff struggled to keep up. Food came out slow, with some items on the plate being at an appropriate temperature while other items meant to be hot were cold. Wine pairing with each course was problematic, with wine being late or entire courses having gone before any wine was brought. So often during the special events I saw the manager walking around and not really helping. Food: Only one thing we consistently found to be of poor quality, any item that was “caked.” The crab cake, shrimp cake, and conch fritters were simply terrible. If they cannot be made better, just take them off the menu. Everything else was really good to excellent. Noise: Please understand that this is not really a complaint, just a small warning. The sound of the Coqui (frogs) can be fairly loud. You can hear them in your room, one time they were so loud I though there must be a couple of them in our room. The good. The staff!: Everyone from your butler, to the waiters, bartenders, housekeeping, groundskeeper, everyone was friendly. Everyone spoke. Everyone smiled. Some of the standout staff we would like to acknowledge: Sabby (absolutely fantastic; always happy, her positivity is infectious), Kevin, Toya, Ginel, Hannah, Ray, Jakim, and Charles. Everyone was really nice, but these folks stood out. The food: Almost every meal was fantastic. Steaks, lamb, fresh fish, the list goes on. The drinks: If is very rare to find an all-inclusive with quality liquor. Stay here, and you have found it. Room: Your plunge suite is large and comfortable. Your patio with plunge pool is also large and relaxing. We did not take advantage of the plunge pool. Pool: Being a small resort, it is really nice to have such a nice pool and pool area. The lounge chairs are comfortable and well maintained. The pool cabanas are fantastic, although there is a cost. Room service: Anytime you want anything to eat or drink. Fantastic!

    Excellent Festive Season Stay

Excellent rooms, amenities, facilities, and customer service. Quality food and premium liquor, which is rare for an all-inclusive. Great nighttime entertainment and access to the full Coconut Bay resort (beyond the smaller 5-star Serenity experience). Very clean and great value for the experience. Location is approx. 5 mins from airport, so it's very convenient (airport noise was not an issue). It's located on the Atlantic side, which is good for windsurfing, kitesurfing, etc. water sports. If you want more snorkeling, fishing, scuba, sunset cruises, mud baths, hiking, etc., you need to go to the Carribbean side (town of Soufriere, near the Pitons)--this is an hour drive away.

    Brilliant !! 100/100 !!

WOW wow wow…what an incredible week we have just had! If you’re on the fence about choosing where to stay in the Caribbean, let me save you the trouble - BOOK SERENITY!!! As a surprise, I booked a week’s stay for my girlfriend’s 30th Birthday. The team at the resort pulled out all the stops and made sure it was a birthday that went down in history! We have been to plenty of ‘luxury, couples-only’ resorts over the years, but none have even come close to Serenity. The levels of service, attention to detail, and quality of facilities are second to none. Our suite (complete with its own plunge pool, rainfall shower, and butler!!) was heaven on earth. You could stay in there all week without leaving if you really wanted to! The food is of the highest quality - like dining at a gourmet restaurant every night! The beach is beautiful, as is the private beach side cabanas. We have never felt like such celebrities. There are plenty of excursions on offer, and you must do at least some of them. St Lucia is a beautiful country! The lush scenery with its forests and mountains/volcanoes is marvellous, the weather is fantastic, and the local people are amongst the kindest, most hospitable people you will ever meet. But the main reason I write this review is because of the employees at Serenity. Each and every one of them should be proud of the experience they offer. They work tirelessly, from start to finish, to make sure your stay is nothing short of impeccable. From the minute we walked in the door and were offered a cocktail straight out of a fresh coconut, to our final steak dinner before leaving for the airport, we were made to feel like members of the Royal Family! As I sit in the airport, I try my best to remember all the wonderful people’s names that made our stay unforgettable (no doubt I will forget some, but you know who you are!) Daniel was our butler for the week. A complete and utter legend! He couldn’t do enough for us to ensure we had the best stay imaginable. He was polite, kind and considerate at all times. He EVEN helped me orchestrate my beach proposal to my better half - it was a complete success thanks to him!! We will definitely be requesting Daniel when we return - there can’t be better! (Although I must admit, Kert and David were absolutely brilliant when Daniel had a well-deserved day off! It’s clear Serenity only take on the best, as the whole team worked seamlessly as one amazing unit). Ray, Charles, Kevin, Delon on the bar - all fantastic hosts, and expert mixologists! They were always at hand with a smile on their faces, never letting your glass be empty! The vibes they created around the bar were second to none. You’ll never want to leave! The Greathouse restaurant really is world class. Although you have access to 8 restaurants over the road at the sister resort, you won’t need them! The service from Sabby, Gemma, Gemel, Natasha and co. was exceptional!! They made you feel more welcome than in your own kitchen, and they always remembered your name and what your ‘usual’ order was! To summarise - by far the best week’s holiday we have ever had. 10/10 in every single aspect - St Lucia & Serenity will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we will be back very soon!!

    Dream Come True

I can't even begin to find the words to describe how amazing Serenity is! My husband and I went for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was the first big trip we've been on since our honeymoon, and it did not disappoint. It's unlike any all-inclusive resort out there. The atmosphere is so peaceful. And every single person on staff was so kind. By the end of the week, you felt like you were saying goodbye to family. From having our own personal butler (Quade is top notch!!), to having the best laughs with Kevin at the pool, and phenominal drinks made by Ray, we enjoyed every single minute of this trip. We're already planning our next trip back. If you're looking for something quite yet fun at the same time without huge crowds, this is the place for you! Thank you, Serenity, for literally the best week away we've ever had!
