Staying for 3rd time at bahia mar and next year it will be condos ! Wanna point out Rafael Lobo, vallet person !! He was amazing, what is gonna happen to him when becomes condo?? This guy ran , answered questions, helped us with 1 hour free bicycle rental. Seen him twice run up stairs to help people get out bridge door to go ocean! He is definitely dedicated, knowledgeable, genuine, friendly, willing to help, he is great!! Please make sure he gets another job !

Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale
Upon arrival and check in I was greeted by desk agent Rosemarie was very professional and courteous and should be commended for her excellent customer service skills. I was given 2 bottles of water and 2 Chocolate Chip cookies which was my favorite during my stay. The room was super clean and comfortable. The hotel is located across from the Marina for those who like to fish and close by to nearby restaurants. There’s a water taxi at the Marina. The food at the restaurant was superb, hats off to the chef the Oxtail, mash potatoes and asparagus was a big hit. Though I was somewhat disappointed that there were no ribs available. The staff at the restaurant James,Juliet and Janet should be commended for a job done well.

Geanina is the best!!
The stay was beautiful. Our server Geanina was so helpful and very friendly. She made our stay an even better experience. She was very quick to help and assist us with anything we needed at the bar/dining area. I highly reccomend going here for the friendly staff and the beautiful rooms. Geanina really made our time dining a great experience! Thank you.

Terrible experience.
My stay at this hotel was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had—and I travel frequently. After checking in, we went out to enjoy the beach and dinner. When we returned, we noticed small bugs on the bedside mirror and table. By the next morning, the bugs were crawling all over the food we had brought back. I went to the front desk, and they moved us to a new room. I requested to speak with the manager twice, but didn’t hear from her for two days. She was supposed to send a security guard to take a statement regarding the bugs on our food, but no one ever came. I even sent videos and pictures as proof. We stayed for a total of four days, and housekeeping never cleaned the room. We ran out of towels and toilet paper, and when we requested more, it took hours for them to arrive. On the morning we checked out, I found a giant cockroach on my bed. I again asked to speak to the manager, but was told she was too busy—just like before. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Honestly, we probably would’ve had a better stay at a motel. This place seriously needs to be fumigated and shut down. I was absolutely disgusted.

Calm, relaxing, and fulfilling
The beach attendant Juan was very helpful in the process of getting me a chair set-up. He gave me great recommendations on the fun of Fort Lauderdale for food / drinks. It made my experience a real 10/10!! It’s was a very refreshing way to start off my week! I highly recommend asking for Juan when you visit the beach.
