First Visit to Zoetry Villa Rolandi
An elegant first impression having a private catamaran take you from the Marina to Isla Mujeres and dock right at the resort. The resort is small with limited bars and restaurants, but more than ample for the ~ 35+ suites. the main restaurant is simply outstanding, and the service is impeccable. the service by the pool is attentive. The bar service from the pool is fast, and comes from the restaurant bartender. While quick, the same drinks for 7 days were inconsistently made, even with correcting tips to the servers. the rooms are well serviced but dated. the oceanfront beach view is outstanding and the ground and small beach area are well maintained. The UVC (VIP Members) Reps are very good and attentive daily to your needs. Details on service requests are sometimes confused, but they are very attentive to fix anything and ensure good customer service. Quiet location for wellness, not many activities at all.
Octopus was amazing.
Stopped by after a beach club visit to show my friend the restaurant. They welcomed us with open arms although not really dressed for the occasion. We had a bottle of wine, the bread and an appetizer of calamari in lime and oil that was amazing. It was thinly sliced and full of flavor. Enjoyed so much that I made reservations for November for my family!
Amazing, Exotic Getaway!
The staff at Zoetry bent over backwards to accommodate us for our 8 day stay. Every detail was carefully managed. From maid service, to room service, to the restaurants and bars, to the beach side service (Mageda worked so hard on beach sand every day we were there bringing us drinks - it's courteous to tip anyone here, even though the fine print says you don't have to), to concierge service (Berenice and Malena never missed a detail!), to the front desk (Ana, David and Jose always attentive), to lifeguard Antenor on the beach (my wife stepped on a sea urchin in the sea grass about 25ft from the beach and Antenor handled the situation cool and collected, Alexa's foot was back to normal in no time). The beach is small, but so is the resort. Several days there was just us and 2 other couples on the beach. Its small, quiet, lavish, and you will feel spoiled everyday. Tell everyone Sean And Alexa from Atlanta, Georgia say Hi!
Small Boutique-Not for children
My husband and I traveled to this resort in May. I usually write my review with pro's and con's, but this resort is hard to write about in that way. The treatment that we received from the hotel was wonderful. We are UVC members and were given a private boat from the main land, which I believe is done for everyone vacationing at this resort. The boat ride was great, we were given cold clothes and champagne and beer on our way over for the 20 minute ride. (Note: if the waters are rough they do not run the boat and you may be forced to take the Ferry). Once we arrived at the resort we were greeted and shown to our room immediately. We were in an ocean front verranda suite which was gorgeous!!! Every room has a beautiful view of the ocean whereas there are only 35 suites in the entire resort. Although this resort does say that children are welcome, I would never bring my children to this resort of any age!! There literally is nothing to do at this resort other than relax, eat and drink. When I say nothing, I mean there is only one TV channel in English. The two restaurants are ridiculously good!!! One is the main restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the other is a chef inspired seven course restaurant where the menu changes every day by the choice of the chef. We did rent a golf cart for 24 hours from the tourist strip on the island and drove that around the island which was a lot of fun. I would recommend that you rent it in the afternoon and drive around to see all of the sites and then use it the next morning for shopping before the tourist shops get too busy, it becomes crazy and hot as well! The cost for half a day versus an entire day overnight is only a $20.00 difference. Well worth it. There is also a spa that has all of the services that you would receive from a bigger resort, however there is no hydro circuit area to use. Over all this resort is perfect if you are looking to just relax and basically do nothing, if you are looking for a lively place than this resort is not for you.
Relaxing Get A Way!!!
Excellent staff ....very friendly and 100% service oriented 24/7. Excellent spa services .Golf cart rentals available to view other parts of the island (4 miles long). Beautiful sunrise and sunsets...a must view.
