Just returned from another amazing stay at the St. Regis. A special thanks to Feng, Margaux, and Julie for helping to make our stay memorable! The resort was beautiful and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beauty of the property. The staff was amazing and we couldn’t be more pleased with the time we spent there.
The Jewel of Bora Bora. Perfection and beauty.
It is obviously one of the top resort in the world. Me and my family are lucky enough to have traveled in very nice 5 stars resorts for many years. The St. Regis is at top of our list. Elegance, beauty professional and friendly service makes the stay feel like paradise. The place is gorgeous, the food is top notch and the personnel is lovely. Special thank to Matira and Arii at the beach!!!!!
Don't go anywhere else... ever!
One of the best properties I've ever stayed at. Maybe the strongest endorsement I can give is that it is worth every penny. The property is outstanding, taking full advantage of its location in one of the most exotic and beautiful places on earth and the service is among the best I have ever experienced. I offer two examples of the latter which I already shared with the staff, but which bear repeating here. First, a simple misunderstanding. The masks make it difficult even for native English speakers to communicate, so when one day I showed up at the pool bar and asked for a beer I was not surprised to be presented with a bill for a beer, but no beer. I tried to communicate with the staff at the bar, but to no avail. I went to the registration and spoke to one of the Front Agents, Julie Dillard, just to make sure I didn't get charged for the beer I never got. Julie, who's wonderful in just about every way, fixed this immediately without me even asking. About 5 minutes after I got back to my room I had a beer delivered in a nifty little plastic bag filled with ice. A few days later again at the pool bar, Richard, the property dining manager, came to follow up with me about it. We ended up having a great conversation about a wide range of topics which turned about to be a highlight of the day. This effort by all on a relatively small item was much appreciated and I will remember it as a mark of true service. Example two comes courtesy of United Airlines. The day before we left we received notice that our return flight was delayed by a full day. This of course instantly created a crisis. Akane, our butler, and Olivier, one of the senior staff, took care of extending our stay by a day and rearranging our Air Tahiti flights so that everything worked nicely. This was a rush job and they handled it perfectly so that we could enjoy the extra day "forced" on us by United! I got in two extra dives and my wife and son spent the extra day at the beach. Room tip: If you like stargazing get a bungalow with a pool and watch the stars at night with a glass of champagne. I'll go back just for that. And don't fool around - if you're going to do this get an Otemanu view! The bottom line here is... just do it. I only wish I could put this property (and Bora Bora) in my bag and carry it home with me!
Perfection in Paradise
If I had to qualify my stay at the St Regis Bora Bora in one word that would be : Perfect ! I have traveled to many luxurious hotels all over the world and it is hard to equal The St Regis in Bora Bora. It is pure luxury. Not only is the hotel gorgeous, with beautiful views no matter where you are looking, but also the rooms are astonishing and so clean. Most importantly, the customer service is one of the best I have ever encountered. For instance, we went on a few tours (booked on our own) and when we were back, our butler would be waiting for us at the pier to bring us back to the room without us even requesting anything. We had a little issue with one of our bikes and within less than 15 minutes, there was another bike outside of our water villa. This is the perfect place if you like to be pampered and stress free ! Everyone who works there do such an amazing job, there really is nothing to complain about. I could go on and on on how perfect this is, but you really have to experience it by yourself and trust me, I guarantee that it is impossible you get disappointing. Lastly, it is important to point out that they do an amazing job with social distancing and we could see the staff constantly disinfecting high traffic areas, our tables, rooms.....
Trip of a Life Time!
I cannot say enough positive things about me & my husbands experience at the St. Regis Bora Bora. We had planned to celebrate our 30th birthdays back in April, but of course the pandemic had other ideas. Thankfully French Polynesia opened back up to the US & we didn't hesitate to re-book. The service was top notch from beginning (airport pickup) to end (airport drop off). We were so impressed with the level of care each staff member took by wearing masks, constantly cleaning & providing hand sanitizer. Once we arrived at the hotel we were upgraded to a Deluxe villa with a view of Mt. Otemanu. My husband & I could not get over the view off our back patio. Absolutely spectacular. Breakfast every morning was delicious & I could not get enough of the chocolate pastries. Dinner's were even better! All waiters & waitresses were beyond nice and constantly smiling-it made the experience even better in my opinion. I also have to give a very special shout out to Richie -- he really took our vacation to the next level by providing 5+ star service. My only suggestion would be to add more options on the lunch menu. My husband & I found the menu to be a little small & after 7 days were wishing we had more options. All in all, this is truly a luxurious trip of a lifetime. We will for sure be returning at some point! Thank you St. Regis Bora Bora!
