Most Luxurious and relaxing vacation
Our French Polynesian vacation ended in Bora Bora and I am so glad I planned it this way. It was a great ending to a 2 week vacation. It starts from the nice airport pick up with a private boat ride, to an amazing reception and check in experience. Got transported to our own over the water villa via a golf cart and opening the door to the room is an absolute .... WOW! the view from the door to the room overlooking the water is just W.O.W.!! Got upgraded to a pool overwater villa on our last 2 nights tops it all. Didn't leave the room at all! Definitely going back to this paradise.
Wonderful Experience! Best Vacation Ever!!!
I’ve never written a review, but our experience at Conrad Bora Bora was so amazing I had to write about it. I was there with my daughter to celebrate her 17th birthday and we were both thoroughly impressed with the service from the minute we first arrived and stepped off the boat and were greeted by the entire staff … I want to start out by thanking Rod, our Concierge. We were so awed by his dedication and how he maintained an excellent level of service throughout our entire stay. All the lovely little details he left, planned, and suggested for us truly made the trip a memorable experience. Breakfast every morning was also another highlight of our day. Poema and her staff were always a delight. The ladies in the activities department were also helpful planning last minute excursions. We have no hesitation in recommending the Conrad to anyone and everyone and wish we could have stayed longer. The views were gorgeous, the bed was super comfy, the service all around from the entire staff was great. We are extremely grateful for the privilege of being able to stay at the Conrad, and want to thank the entire staff from the bottom of our hearts. Maururu!!!
The Most Amazing Vacation Ever!
This was amazing from start to finish. The resort is immaculate, the staff were amazing, and a special thank you to Rod (Employee) who made my wife and I second honeymoon unforgettable. From beginning to end... 1. Save yourself money and take the free Air Tahiti water taxi to the main town. Not only will you save money, but it will give you a little time to explore the town, go to Chin Lee’s Market and stock up on snacks for the room, then catch the Conrad’s scheduled water taxi from Robert Wan’s pontoon. 2. Rod along with other staff members met us at the welcome area as our water taxi docked. We got there around 11:00 AM and thought we would have to wait, but that wasn’t the case. Our room was ready! Rod took us on a tour of the resort, showing us everything from where we should snorkel on property to the restaurants, to the look out point for amazing views. 3. Our room with a pool over water bungalow with a view of Otemanu. We stayed in room 103. When we first walked in and looked at our view we didn’t believe our eyes. It looked fake, and over the days we were there that feeling never faded. The coffee was free, and we received two free waters a day. The fridge was stocked with beverages and candy, but there was a charge, so we didn’t partake. We just enjoyed the food we bought from town during our stay. There are American plugs as well which made things easy. 4. We ate a continental breakfast every morning. The buffet wasn’t available due to COVID, so they provided us fresh fruit, coffee, water, juice, and an assortment of breads. It was enough for us, and kept us relatively full most of the morning. 5. We ate at their beachside restaurant one day for lunch. We had salads and a pizza. The food was delicious, and filling. We were able to take leftovers back to the room for later. The view from the restaurant was gorgeous and we didn’t fill rushed at all when we finished. The staff were attentive and very friendly. 6. We also had dinner one night at their Chinese restaurant, Banya was the name I believe. The staff again were amazing, and the food was delicious. We ate outside, enjoyed the food, and took in the atmosphere. 7. We snorkeled around the property daily. We saw a stingray, several eagle rays, puffer fish, a moray eel, and several random colorful fish. The Conrad has done a nice job with growing coral on property and placing it around the property and out onto the reef. Being a scuba diver, this is something I really appreciated hearing about during our welcome tour and seeing first hand as my wife and I snorkeled the property. 8. My wife and I took advantage of the gym each day. They had a nice assortment of cardio machines, machine weights and free weights. There were never people there when we went, which made it nice. 9. Checkout was smooth. We scheduled a late checkout, and decided to use their water taxi service all the way back to the airport. The alternative would have been to leave earlier, have the Conrad take us to the main town, and wait several hours until the free air Tahiti shuttle was ready to leave for the airport. The Conrad shuttle wasn’t cheap, but to be able to enjoy our room until 3:30 PM, head down to the dock with our stuff, and get a ride right to the airport was worth it. 10. Lastly, the staff, from Rod, to housekeeping, to restaurant people, were super friendly and welcoming. They made our stay extra amazing and I can’t recommend this property enough. Whether you are able to frequent Bora Bora often, or just looking for that once in a lifetime trip there like us, you won’t be disappointed. They get 1,000 out of 10 stars!
Very nice resort and great people.
There is no question that the resort is very nice and the view is amazing. For us it is also the people. Marilyn has been so nice and responsive to all my emails and requests. Audrey was there greeting us the moment we stepped out the shuttle, she pick the best sunset view villa for us. Ambroisine (Amber) showed us around and explained everything to us. Prisca is so nice and always smiles. The resort is nice, the people make it must-to-stay.
Amazing Wedding in Paradise
My wife and I stayed in February 2020 for a week and had an incredible stay. We were married on the beach in an intimate ceremony that was arranged by Tabatha Cuypers, the Concierge & Wedding Planner. She was incredible and made sure everything was arranged prior to our visit and was with us our entire wedding day. While we paid for professional photography, Tabatha also assisted in taking photos with our camera so we could enjoy some before receiving the professional photos. We can't recommend her and the entire experience enough. The room was the main draw and we highly recommend getting an overwater villa for at least part of your stay. We especially recommend the western-most villas if possible, as we were able to stand in the water as it was not as deep and the snorkeling was amazing. We enjoyed all of the luxury amenities in the villa including built-in bluetooth speakers, large bathroom with tub and rainfall shower, and ultimate privacy. Every night we laid out on the netted area of the deck and looked at the stars. We had our wedding dinner on our balcony, which was the most incredible dining experience of our lives, and we were able to order off the Iriatai menu as we preferred the selection to the traditional wedding menu selection. The quality of the food was pleasantly surprising, with the complimentary breakfast buffet for Diamond members a high point of every morning. We ate at every venue including In-Room Dining, and all were great. The frozen cocktails at the pool were also really good. Definitely try the Tahitian Raw Fish! We had a couples massage at the spa as well, and I would say this was the only real disappointment of the entire experience as they have you in a warm room (A/C doesn't work well in the Spa) and you lay on rough towels as opposed to the normal soft sheets that are typical of luxury spas. Definitely take advantage of the free bikes on property. They can be a bit rickity, but we enjoyed riding around the resort every day. We recommend doing this in the mornings and evenings for sunrise and sunset views, as well as avoiding the hottest point of the day. Insider tip: Buy water bottles at the gift shop and fill them up in the fitness center to avoid paying exorbitant prices for bottled water at the restaurants. A good idea is also to bring small snacks for your room to enjoy while snorkeling/sunbathing on your private deck. Bring sunscreen, aloe vera, and your own inflatables to enjoy off your deck. We had an incredible stay and we cant wait to return again someday! Thank you!
