    Amazing, great holiday.

I stayed at Now Sapphire for 2 weeks with my boyfriend. The food at the a-la-carte restaurants were amazing!! We went mostly to them instead of the buffet, as we found the buffet was lovely, but the quality of the a-la-carte was amazing, so we felt we may as well go there if we can, not once did we struggle or got turned away from there for being too full. Also room service was great!! All the staff were so lovely, and not once did we get pestered for a tip. The bar staff round the pool bar were so lovely, and always tried to remember your name and your drink. The entertainment staff were always on point, and there were funny games which happened during the day. They were always asking if we wanted to join in in any activities during the day, which were good and broke the day up a lot. Issac, luigi and Katherine were friendly and helpful, and always seemed genuinely interested in a chat and how our holiday was. The resort itself was amazing, very clean and attention to detail when it came to cleaning was great. Would 100% recommend. The only issue we had was the amount of seaweed at the beach, but that’s something the hotel are trying to tackle, with people sweeping up the sea weed every morning (poor people) but they’re fighting against nature, but honestly it didn’t affect our holiday at all. It was still lovely, and we both had an amazing time.

    Fantastic Vacation!

This resort was 5 stars from beginning to end. The service was always great and we were greeted with a smile everywhere we went. We did not have any issues, but I'm sure if we had, they would have been addressed quickly and professionally. The staff was always respectful and cheerful asking us what they could do to make our stay more enjoyable. The food at this resort has got to be some of the best I've had at an all inclusive and there were so many options. We loved the non-reservation system for the a la carte restaurants allowing us flexibility with each day. We did have to wait for a table a couple times but we were given a pager and went to enjoy the live music and a drink in the large lobby. The one time we chose to go to the blue water grill for lunch and found the wait was a bit long, but we learned that we wouldn't do an a la carte for lunch and just went to the buffet or the barefoot grill which suited us just fine as lunch options the rest of the week. The night time entertainment was always enjoyable and well done. I loved the live music in the lobby. We never had trouble getting a pool chair (we were there the beginning of may) and the staff were good about clearing chairs that had been unattended for long periods of time. The seaweed on the beach was a bit of an issue, but the staff worked around the clock to help clear it. I really mean around the clock. from sun up to down, they were out there clearing the beach of the seaweed that just kept coming. we are not big beach loungers so this was not an issue for us. We saw a few weddings while we were there for the week and we could tell the staff work hard to make it perfect for the couple. There was a destination wedding of 250 guests when we were there and this got pretty busy and loud around the pool, but there is the other pool for preferred members that can be used for a more quiet space I suppose although we did not upgrade to the preferred membership.

    Great vacation

Everything about the resort was great, the staff is attentive and accommodating, the check in process was easy but still took till 2:30 to get room even though check in was at 10:30 a.m., rooms are very clean and maintained well during the stay with cleaning stocking of bar and turn down service at night, food was great except for and undercooked steak the food was incredible. Great resort.

    Great Resort!

Wow, talk about excellent customer service. Everyone working there always said hola, welcome, thank you, my pleasure, etc. The poolside waiters were terrific and never had to be hunted down. The waiters in the restaurants were just as good and extremely nice and more importantly, always happy! I have nothing negative to say about the attention we received. World class customer services all the way! The resort itself is beautiful and it's the perfect size. Not too big nor too small, perfect. The main pool was also perfect. Unfortunately, the beach has a major seaweed problem and it's not just at the Now Sapphire beach. The problem is from just south of the hotel zone in Cancun all the way down to Belize. Major problem for sure and not the resorts fault. The men who are in charge of cleaning up as much seaweed as possible broke their backs daily to keep it somewhat under control. Please don't let that deter you from visiting this resort. Like I said, it's a problem up and down the coast line and even creeping into the Gulf of Mexico. We did have a problem with a horrible rotten egg smell coming from the decaying seaweed on the first day we were there but they easily moved us to a new beachfront room away from a huge pile of seaweed. Paulino at the front desk bent over backwards to take care of us. Now let me talk about the food, which is a big deal for any all-inclusive. This resort offers the best tasting food we've had at any all-inclusive and we've stayed at a lot. The Mexican restaurant was really good but the buffet was always perfect. One night was asian fusion, one night was Italian, one night the resort had a big Mexican feast down by the pool. Tons of food and everything was fantastic! We didn't even need to eat at the hibachi restaurant, which always had a long wait and does require reservations. The wait wasn't worth it considering how good the food was everywhere else. If you're wondering about the preferred club upgrade, I won't consider it again at this resort. The resort does such a good job with ALL guests, you really don't see any benefit so save some money unless you just gotta have a beachfront view. Unfortunately due to the seaweed problem, you really can't get into the ocean so for us, the upgrade was a waste of money. Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Now Sapphire team for making us feel right at home!
