Delightful and relaxing
Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita is a pleasurable and relaxing vacation in the Riviera Maya. Take time to do everything they offer, especially as it relates to the artwork throughout the property. The artist is a passionate and delightful man who is happy to speak with you and help you experience his works. Fatima is the curator of the collection and can facilitate and ship any purchases. Everyone on staff at the resort will enthusiastically meet your every need, but there are some particular folks to look for to make your vacation special: Andrea and Amanda make checkin simple and delightful including a tour. Armando chose music for the sunset cruise that was recognizable and had the passengers singing along and making friends. Luis is the most perfectly professional and personable man and we will miss him. His ability to anticipate what you might need is exceptional. He greets everyone by name and has a wonderful memory for details. Pastor at la Canoa is an attentive and caring server. It is obvious how much he loves his job. Irvin who brings the bread has a smile and sweet spirit speak volumes. Antonio at the pool kept moving the umbrella so my daughter wouldn’t burn. He listens about what you enjoy and then offers/brings it even if it is not on the menu for the pool area. Frederico was always checking to make sure we had whatever we wanted and the he and Antonio would remake our chairs with fresh towels. Eduardo is very personable and will do anything at all that you need and Juan even brought us an ice bucket because we drink so much water :) Eddie at the sushi bar is a skilled chef and can create any sushi or sashimi that you want. We went to sit and watch him sometimes because of his skill and big smile. Alberto at Hippos knows many old and obscure cocktail recipes and will work to gather ingredients if needed. (The resort is well stocked but I drink older recipes.) Sergio is at Hippos in the morning and is happy to learn recipes for drinks to match everyone’s pallet. He was able to help some new friends experience my favorite drink without needing to be reminded of the recipe. Leo is the sommelier and gave such a great wine tasting that the group stayed together for dinner and nightcaps. It was a beautiful way to make great friends. Carlos was always available and accessible to assist us as needed and helped us find the Jaguar room for a special breakfast. He always asks how we are and to let him know if we need anything. Jonathan comes with a big smile every day to restock our water (and champagne as requested) and whenever he would see us on the path he would stop to make certain we had everything we needed. Daniel is the wellness concierge and is patient and knowledgeable. He helped me learn some new skills and gives great classes. He will push you if you want or take it slow. He has respect and kindness for everyone. Take as many sessions with him as you can. Denise at UVC is always ready to help guests and members get the most from their vacation. She is so kind that I never hesitated to refer people to her. We also met Ankara the GM and she took the time to meet guests and participate in some special activities. She cares about the people and property and is very invested. Esteban sometimes works in the library and has tended bar many place in the world. He is a kind man and very informative. He can also make great suggestions because of his experience. Suggestion: please consider to add a tablet computer with a music stand to the top of the piano with digital sheet music to help people who wish to play but cannot remember parts of their song.
Great, peaceful spot in Cancun
Loved Zoetry. The rooms, food and amenities are fantastic. That said, the staff were even better. Umberto at Kash, Frederico (pool), the bartenders in the palapa and Aurelio (somm) were the highlights.
resort and staff were all incredibly nice, very beautiful and clean resort! Big Surprise---NOT ADULT ONLY!!!! we thought it was and were given the impression! suppose to be quaint boutique spa like resort! there is only 1 pool, kids were running across pool and jumping into water.....completely caused one end of pool to clear....management finally put stop to this on our second day! would prefer adult only resort!!!! room service one night took 2 1/2 hrs, after an hour we called and they said sent order (2 hamburgers and fries) to wrong room, but did not call to tell us and wanted to know if we still wanted?!?!?! told them yes and then it was another 1 hr to get food, yet only 30 rooms of 99 were occupied! that was the only poor service, the rest was great service!

great stay beds were a little hard sea weed was just ok they worked on it all day but below the pier its was thick every place ode day its was a little smelly but did not last long bar service was great
Everything about this resort is wonderful. If you are looking for a relaxing laid back get away from it all place, this is the one for you. No huge parties, loud music or anything else undesirable. The food is top notch. We opted for the couples romantic dinner and were not disappointed. We've eaten at the best restaurants all over the world and I can honestly say this ranks right up there with the best of them. The offered us a second private dinner at no charge I might add, which was just as good as the first one. The room and service were fantastic. I did not given it an excellent rating for one reason.....seaweed!. The crystal clear blue water they use on the photos is not how it is. The water is brown with seaweed which as been a problem for quite some time according to one of the workers. It is overrunning the beach, is brown and smells terrible. They are constantly trying to contain it by shoveling it up and hauling it away but it's not helping. It forced us to stay around the pool, which is beautiful, but one of the main reasons we came was for the beach which was totally unusable.
