When I think about this hotel all I can say is "Eh." I came for a girls trip. The hotel itself is a bit aged and could use some renovations. The best food on the daily buffet that you could always count on were the French fries. The drinks were good. The best bartender was Winston but he wasn't keen on service. There were no activities at the resort. So to recap: the rooms were not great, the food was not that great but the drinks were good. The only saving grace was the staff. Dian made my day. She was wonderful and willing to help and she made my drinks like I like them. Sue Anne was also a delight. I had seen her a couple of times in one day and she had worked an extremely long shift and never once did her smile leave her face. Tara at the front desk was also very friendly. Would I stay again? No. However, if you decide to go you will have great service in mediocre to subpar surroundings.
We had a girls trip for 5 days! This resort at best is a 2/5. Our first day when getting in bed that night 2/3 of us in my room had sand in the bed. Being that it was after 10 they were not able to come change my sheets. The WiFi that is suppose to be throughout only worked outside of the rooms and even then sometimes it did not work. The drinks were great . The activity center was not helpful at all. Reservations were always booked, and the lady trying to help with excursions had no idea about stuff. We also wanted to book photos for our group but there were no photographers by the hotel. I have never experienced a hotel without an onsite photographer. She then calls someone and he says he won’t be on island until August 🤔 ! The food was just ok. I’ve had much better. The service was excellent other than a few people but that’s anywhere. The hotel was very boring did not have any day activities. No music playin, no water volleyball, no shows absolutely nothing. At night they had a band which was cool. The beach was beautiful and the guys over water sports were great. Waves were too much to swim in but fun to enjoy. I wouldn’t stay here again.
From the moment you arrive you are greeted with warmth and friendliness. We was upgraded to a sea view room, the rooms are clean and big enough for 3 adults to be sharing. The staff are so accommodating nothing is to much. The food is lovely, if you are hungry through out the day the coffee shop and ice cream parlour are def., worth a visit. A big thank you to the hotel nothing is to much. Even got to see turtles on the beach in the evening time, beach is small but perfect you can always find a lounger. We will def., be back
Relaxed All Inclusive
Been to Barbados a few times and decided we wanted all in. to relax for a week. Originally picked to go to The Club, but Elegant Hotels moved us as this was being refurbed. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the staff and the food. The only slight (I mean slight) problem was we had booked Adults only and this hotel had a lot ofchildren. Most were well behaved but some spoilt the total experience for us. We arrived fairly early in the middle of the day, but front desk said no problem, we could go and eat in the restaurant even though we hadn't checked in. This was great. Each night food in the restaurant was well presented and well cooked. I obeyed the dress code and didn't wear my flip flops or gym shorts. I noticed a lot did, though, and nothing was said. Silly having the dress code really. Breakfast was great and the omelette station is fantastic. Lunch is low key right by the beach andall food was delicious. The rooms are airy and quite large. A/c is good and the rooms are cleaned to a high standard. Pools are nice but you always have the sae. It was a bit rough during our stay, but we went in on the days that the weed wasn't paying a visit. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but wouldn't go A.I. again as we missed going out to the local restaurants along The Gap. We event talked to one guy who hadn't been out of the hotel for 2 weeks stay. How can he say he'd been to Barbados??
Spent a week here 24 June to 2nd April 19. Had a brilliant week, it was worth upgrading to an front ocean view suite. View was great. Staff are all lovely and helpful. Food was really nice, we didn’t get fed up of it after a week. Pools were very clean. Hotel itself was good quality and had nice grounds. It’s not huge. We would go again and would recommend to anyone. It’s next doors to sandals who had about 4weddings a night every night so there was always something to see!
