Best of St. Lucia
Hike the Pitons
If the Pitons weren’t the reason for your visit to St. Lucia, then they should still be at the top of your must-do list! The iconic Heritage Site duo will take your breath away, not only because of the lengthy hike, but the picturesque views of the island from over 2,500 feet high. Gros Piton is the largest and more strenuous, while Petit Piton is a bit easier for beginner hikers. Either way, you don’t want to miss this incredible adventure!
Pigeon Island National Park
From pirate-inspired history lessons and a geology recap of the national landmark to 18th-century military ruins and stunning beaches, exploring Pigeon Island is a day well spent! After you work up an appetite, dine at any of the various restaurants nestled within the 44-acre national landmark. Entrance fees are $8 for adults and $3 for kids, open daily from 9am-5pm.
Jump Up at Gros Islet
If you’re looking for something fun to do on a Friday night in St. Lucia, Jump Up is the place to go! Every Friday evening in the town of Gros Islet, just north of Rodney Bay, locals block off the main street to throw a lively street party for everyone. Giant speakers, fun music, street vendors, BBQ pits and portable rum bars. How much more fun could it get? Oh, and you won’t want to miss the stunning view of Pigeon Island!
