    Lovely spa experience

Lovely hotel, good staffs. The entertainment guys are lovely and the spa was amazing. My massage therapist was Suquania and she was amazing and at the price rate was not bad either. Would definitely recommend to anyone who may be interested.

Excellent this time around! Happy I gave Bahia a 2nd chance

We went to celebrate our daughter's birthday which was a success as she said it was her best birthday ever! August 2020 (Covid time) was our first visit to Bahia, it was the worst experience we had ever had and we've been to quite a few hotels. I understand, as it was in the heart of Covid and they were extremely short staffed and removed some of the amenities from the room to prevent spreading. However, my friend suggested we try them again, and based on where it's situated, it was our best option. THIS TIME AROUND, IT WAS EXCELLENT! Food was great this time, room service was prompt, staff was friendly. A big shout out to KEVIN (I think thats his name), from Don Pablo restaurant. He went above and beyond for us. Best waiter in the world! My only issue was, the shower head and holder fell off on my daughters in the bathtub and the sink pipe needs to be changed. They placed a birthday sash on my daughter's room door, which was very cute and the view from our rooms were amazing. We would definitely go back a 3rd time.

First time All Inclusive, this was TERRIBLE!!!!!

Let me start with a positive... This Resort has a breathtaking landscape, with amazing scenery, that's it. When it comes to the experience and service here, well that's where things become quit mediocre. From the entrance at security to the bellmen no one was welcoming! Check in was pleasant and informative(as they should be) but that was it. Most of the staff looked like they didn't wanna be there and It reflected in their work, just how aggressive and impolite they were with every interaction it' was as if you were bothering them if you wanted a drink or something. But walk up with visible tip in your hand they just might smile with you. There were some that tried their best to be polite and it made a difference, but the majority just didn't make the cut working in the hotel industry. I won't speak on the entertainment factor because I do understand that it's a low season for all resorts and at this time the demography tends to be more laidback than energetic. The food was ok for most parts, nothing special. Overall my stay was just for the experience of my first all inclusive resort, and I won't let this first crappy experience stop be from doing it again, just not at this resort... On a side-note I am Jamaican, I have worked at all inclusive resorts before so I know this wasn't it!! Spoke to an employee in the restaurant and it was clear that they aren't being paid well, which is sad. Do better Bahia!!! I wouldn't recommend not even to a hater!!

    Great choice for a holiday

The hotel is beautiful with all facilities that you need for a good holiday. The swimming pools are big and always clean as were all the surrounding areas. We loved the breakfast buffet options and the Round Island restaurant by the swimming pool for lunch. The jerk corner next door was also fabulous with delicious food. Our rooms were spacious and clean, with the minibar refilled every day. I would only mention that they are a bit worn out, especially the bathrooms. We only tried the Japanese restaurant on site and that was our biggest disappointment. The menu is tiny, and it is a set menu. There were hardly any Japanese options in it. The food was lacking flavour and authenticity. The hotel itself is near to many attractions like The green grotto caves, Dunn's River falls and Mystic Mountain theme park - all worth a visit. And last but not least - a big thank you to all the hotel staff for being helpful, friendly and attentive, especially the ones in Jazmin restaurant during breakfast. They made our stay even more pleasant.
