Dec 09, 2024Beautiful resort but lacking pool and beachside waiter service.
The resort is beautiful and the staff very polite. I would recommend if you stay here to use the resorts airport shuttle as they have a customer service desk right at the resort. I give this resort a poor grade as the purpose of our holiday was to just sit at the beach. The waiter staff at the beach or pool side is basically non existent so we had to continually walk back up from the beach to the bar to get drinks. We have come to expect waiter service at the beach from resorts such as Hilton, Marriott and Barcello.

We are a group of friends who had a wonderful time. What really stood out was the friendliness of all of your staff. They were so accommodating! Even if you passed a staff member in the hall they greeted you every time. The facilities are great including all the restaurants, special and buffet. The food was soooo good with lots of variety in all! The rooms were spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean with an oversized balcony. We used the transportation on the property between the Luxury Hotel and the Grand and were so glad that such a service was provided. We used the Spa - had a massage and it was above and beyond expectation.

Birthday celebration
My birthday was in November, so we went to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. Overall the birthday celebration was great and everyone had a good time. The staff at the Bahia Luxury Sydonnie Brown , Amoy Black and Shae Ann Lewin went above and beyond to make my day very special with organizing and decorating the gazebo area where we had a special dinner and also decorating my room to my surprise. Special shout out to Amoy Black and Shae Ann Lewin for decorating my room you guys are very talented and I would recommend you guys for making any other guest special day even more special. Thanks to Mr Saunders the chef for preparing the dinner, it was delicious and Chef Ariel for listening to our requests. Special shout out to Jonay Guerra and Alejandro Martinez. Thanks to Marcine at the front desk’s and Kasey Brown from Bell hop. Keep doing a good job guys!!!

Drug dealers right on the beach!!!! In front of your children!!! Service is terrible. They are short of staff and we are forced to wait at the entrance to the buffet (!), despite the fact that almost all the tables are free!!! They have so few staff that they do not have time to serve them.

Loved this place
First trip to Jamaica/Caribbean. Hotel was fantastic,room lovely and big.visited 6 restaurants and enjoyed them all,really felt like going out for dinner. Buffet restaurant was also very good. Entertainment was great fun and live bands in the daytime by pool was fun. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Beach was great and sea lovely and clear. Hope to return in the future
