    Very good with a major flaw

    Beautiful beach stretch on Palm Beach. Great location. Very good service and attention. I recommend to pay a little more to upgrade to Royal Level. Their web page has all the information about the amenities. A major drawback, they don’t have a system to book umbrellas at the pool or palapas at the beach and, to top it off, there aren’t enough palapas. This is really bad and not at all representative of a 5 star resort.

    Not worth the price to stay here

    Bring your own beach chairs and umbrellas…. There’s a good chance you won’t get one to use. People get up at 5 and 6 am to reserve them… then they don’t use them for hours … They definitely need a new set up for this

    Great Family Trip

    I am writing this review to give a shout out to Marilyn at the kids club. The children were so thrilled with the daily activities. Marilyn was active and engaged with all the kids at all times and made for a great experience for them. Thank you so much. The resort itself was well kept, however could use some updates and the staff was very friendly. The biggest negative was the availability of pool lounge chairs. Having to secure a chair by 6 AM shouldn’t be the case there just needs to be a better method. Rerort was safe and secure. Overall, a wonderful experience.

    Best Vacation !!! Must go Royal Level !

    BEST VACATION MUST GO ROYAL LEVEL !!! We went to celebrate our anniversary with another couple and I can not express how wonderful of a time we had . This location is perfect and the staff and facilities were amazing ! The Royal restaurant is superb and the staff is nothing short of spectacular . HUGE thank you to Marisel ( our favorite diner waiter / for our amazing lobster night !!) he was just excellent and truly a good sport while we feasted and had the best dinner of our lives . The food is absolutely delicious so thank you to all of the cooks !! Jamie ( knew my breakfast order without me asking ) , Maria ( absolutely the sweetest person ) , and Melvin ( our cool host who is super funny ) were our breakfast and lunch staff and they were truly a pleasure . Always up for a laugh and felt like they were a part of our personal party ! Royal stands for royalty because that’s how we felt this entire trip . The beach is perfect ! The drinks are great ! The hotel is beautiful ! Plenty to do in the hotel and right across the street you can go dancing or shop. So much fun!! So safe !! Just an ideal place to relax and have the a great time . Huge thank you to Leyla and staff in concierge for being so amazing and for our strawberries and champagne !! The cleaning staff is so delightful, they do such a wonderful job and are very responsive if you need anything at all. The room is very spacious and just as nice as the pictures . The view from the balcony is WOW ! The Royal bar on the beach is just perfect ! We were not sure what to expect on this trip being our first time in Aruba and given the cost but it far exceeded our expectations !! We highly recommend the Barcelo and can’t wait to be able to return one day ! Tips : book your dining reservations before you go if you can and be at the beach by 7:30 to get good seats ( you can leave your stuff there and it is safe as can be .. you can leave stuff for about 2 hours then chairs can be taken ) Be sure to bring cash to tip the amazing staff . Fun fact : the sand is never hot !!

    Kyoto Restaurant

    Kyoto was AMAZING!! Jason & Jude made our dining experience soooo much FUN! Thank you!!!! The food was exceptional! Cannot say enough wonderful things! Would highly recommend this entertaining dining experience! Will be telling everyone about it!
