Great Experience at Blue Haven
Our stay at Blue Haven was fantastic. The staff are so nice. Pedro was phenomenal and took great care of us at the restaurants and on the beach. Shaneka the manager came and made sure we were well taken care of several times. It’s a beautiful resort with great rooms and views. We hope to be back soon!

Small and intimate resort
Just spent 6 nights in two bedroom suite at his hotel. The hotel grounds and main area are spotlessly clean. The suite was lovely and huge with all amenities needed including stocked fridge, washing machine, dryer, iron etc We had a wonderful balcony also. Only slight issue is there is construction work to side of the hotel which is where our balcony faced which would have been good to know in advance given $$ we paid to stay here. Works were supposed to start at 10am but on two occasions this was 6am which we advised the manager. It didn’t impact our holiday but perhaps some fore warning or something complimentary would have been nice touch. The beach area is small but everything we needed. The sun beds are not as comfortable as I would expect from this standard of hotel. However they have bali beds which are a lot easier on your back! The food was good quality but menu didn’t change enough. More variety needed at dinner. This is a quiet resort and we thought a little more up beat entertainment would make this hotel perfect. The staff were in main very friendly and hard working and big shout out to Cadet and Micheal who worked very hard to ensure we were both well looked after. Bens on water sports was excellent guide for clear kayak tour also. One or two of the female staff were quite abrupt and pointed to gratuity in unfriendly manner. Some training that a more pleasant manner should equate to better tips is recommended. The shuttle to the sister resort is great and we used for change of scene. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want more of a chill holiday.

Incredible Experience thanks to staff, views, attention and food!
Blue Haven is an amazing resort. It is unique to any other resort that we have stayed at in the past. Blue Haven never felt crowded, we were always able to find a spot at the beach, the pool, the restaurants or the bar. The food is absolutely by far the best we have ever had on vacation. ALL of the food at Blue Haven was truly delicious! The entertainment was perfect- the activities were just enough and it was quiet later at night for a restful night sleep. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. I know other reviews say this- but it is so true- from Pedro at the beach, the Jen at Salt, Andre, Tevin (chef), Brandon and at Fire and Ice , Daphne and Mayra at the restaurant and Shaneka and Makayla in the office as well as Winchel smiling and helping up front with anything from luggage, to directions to recommendations- everyone made you feel like you were VIPs! Managers were walking around checking in personally to chat with guests and ensure everything was perfect. We took the clear kayak tour and saw amazing wildlife and had a great time with Rice as a guide. We also went into town for the fish fry and took the shuttle a few times to the sister resort to eat and attend the beach party. It was nice to have the option to enjoy both resorts for a different vibe and feel. The shuttle rides were fun and we got to know many of the other guests by the end of our week together. Also one night at dinner, there was someone playing the keyboard with dinner music and the restaurant just broke out into song- it was so fun. For Easter, they set up a wonderful celebration of food and music! We enjoyed the gym each morning and the market for any things we forgot to pack. We wandered the neighborhood as well and felt very safe as it is all within a gated community. Overall, it was an amazing, intimate and chill resort and because of the resort staff- we had an incredible trip! Everyone- staff and guests- were so friendly and happy! A few things to note- airport transfer is not included nor is transport to town- for shopping or cash. However, we did take a taxi to town to souvenir shop only to find out that souvenirs were set up at the fish fry and the beach party at the resort! :) We are so appreciative of the service we received and would go back for the food and service any day! :) Also- though as some others stated- the rooms are showing a bit of wear- the resort itself is immaculately clean! Our room was not only cleaned thoroughly each day- it was even mopped. All common areas were kept immaculately clean! Thank you, Blue Haven, for an amazing vacation!
