Very nice place, disappointed in the food.
Went with friends for a Birthday celebration. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Had a few issues with our room, but was taken care of first day. Don't plan to get you room any time before 3PM. Entertainment was great. Food: Compared to a few cruise lines and other resorts of this same type but different company, the food was maybe average. This was our disappointment, but didn't let it ruin or trip. If you want Hibachi, make reservations day 1. Some restaurants are not open all the time, and many are location across at Secrets (5 min walk) over the walk way. Not a bad walk.

My first all inclusive
Breathless is a lovely resort and was my first experience with an all inclusive vacation. The pros far outweigh the cons so I would recommend.

Unprofessional and rude staff, room were not clean, room was not ready till 5pm when check in time was 3pm
This is one of the worst customer service we ever experienced. Room was not ready till 5pm while check in time was 3pm. The customers did not really care. The phones in the room was not working. May things was broken in the room. We had to beg to have people clean the room. This was one of the worst customer service experience we ever had.

Not Bad, but It Ain't Secrets.
The hotel is perfectly adequate, but zi am spoiled on Secrets. While you have access to many Secrets facilities, I didn't love my room. The Breathless entertainment was adequate, but nothing spectacular. Aqua yoga was cool. Bare Buns Grill... a MUST! My favorite jerk chicken hands down. My ocean view room was really a view across the ocean to the other side and was mostly a view of the hillside. The pool area was practically empty it seemed to me, but could be the time of year. Also, I was unprepared for how gritty the sand was, but I should have done more research on that. The Dunns River Falls excursion is nice but that drive there and back take hours. Again... not awful, but I definitely was not breathless. Speechless, maybe... but not breathless.
