My wife and I went to Couples Negril to celebrate our 19th year anniversary. We read so many reviews and looked at many pictures and thought this would be a great place to go to and we were CORRECT 100%. We really enjoyed ourselves. Hotel: The hotel was clean and always well cared for from what we could see. Our rooms were cleaned everyday without issue. We always had fresh towels and if we needed anything we just asked. Beach: The beach was beautiful and very clean, we never had a problem getting a lounge chair to sit on and relax. Food: The food was pretty good I had no complaints. During the day you can do self serve ice cream or nachos and cheese, or popcorn if you’re looking for a snack and instead of a meal. Staff: They were all very friendly, great hospitality, ensuring guests were comfortable, entertained, and well taken care of. I can only think of one small issue that we had and that was no hot water in the shower for one of the days we were there. We had a great stay at this resort and would definitely be coming back again!!! Thank you Couples.

Amazing resort, very friendly staff, amazing service. Perfect beach, crystal clear water and lots of water sports Good food options and entertainment nightly The rooms are clean, good size very comfortable. Beautiful resort very joyful

Superb Resort
We stayed here for 10 days in March 2024. This was our first time to Jamaica and we weren’t disappointed. The facilities at the hotel were excellent. It’s a perfect place to go as a couple with a chilled out vibe. There was 1 x buffet restaurant and the rest were fresh to order. All of the food was great. The rooms and housekeeping were fantastic. The beach is out of this world. The staff make this resort. I needed some hospital treatment whilst on holiday and saw on the on-site nurse who referred me to the local hospital. A taxi was ordered and we were accompanied by a member of staff. They couldn’t do enough to help. We have booked to return next year

Great relaxing laid-back resort!
We stayed at Couples Resort Negril for the second time this September. We were here last year and had such a good time that we had to come back. Couples is a great resort if you are looking to relax, enjoy mature vibes, and have a romantic vacation. Food was just ok to me. I didn't like that the same thing was served for breakfast every single day. I would have loved to see a variety of foods being changed out everyday or every other day. The drinks are always good! The Smile Jamaica is my go-to here! Soooo good! Entertainment was great! We were able to see the live local band, the drum show, and the fire show. (These are the same entertainers that we saw last year as well.) We did the glass bottom boat tour, snorkeling, and went off the resort to the Dolphin Cove. The staff was very friendly and helpful during these excursions. Along with this, servers come through the pool and beach areas to take drink/food orders which made a beach/pool day so much more relaxing. The pool was a bit dirty though; however the beach was 10/10! The water was warm and super clear. Along with this, we loved how each lounge chair comes with a cushion that is also a floaty. It made relaxing in the water that much more enjoyable with the ease of not having to pack or purchase a floaty. The rooms were very clean but old. The rooms could use a facelift, but our view was beautiful and room service kept our rooms spotless during our stay. Customer service is everything here! Everyone greets you with a smile and is very accommodating. The staff even set up the first football game of the season in the game room - which I thought was extremely thoughtful. My husband was very thrilled about that. My husband surprised me with a candlelight dinner (that was supposed to be on the beach, but it rained) that was super intimate and BEAUTIFUL. Mario took very good care of us during our private dinner. He was amazing! All in all, Couples is a great resort. The overall vibe is low-key and mature. We stayed for a total of four nights and it was a good time. Before coming to Couples Resort for four days, we stayed at Sandals Negril for three days. I have left a review there if you are comparing the two.

Interim Review
This is an interim review, but I am convinced that the staff here have to be amongst the best, kindest and most generous with their efforts in all of Jamaica. Hands down best service I’ve received at a resort or hotel. Not one person has been less than excellent so far. As an example, upon learning of my dietary preference Shadane in the Cassava Terrance liaised with Guest Services and Chef Renée so they could be accommodated wherever I choose to eat. Chef Renée has been making me the most delicious vegetarian food and has even been kind enough to take requests.
