  Lovely week away, highly recommended

  Myself and my partner stayed here for 1 week from 11th June. We booked all inclusive, staying in a double room with balcony, we did not pay the extra for the Preferred Club. Our room was very clean and in good condition, we couldn't find anything to fault with it. It was cleaned daily, clean towels and bedding. Bin emptied, floors swept etc. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals were all good quality and the staff were all happy to help. We stayed around the pool everyday, think it was called WAVES, and never struggled to find a couple of sun loungers or one of the double sun loungers. During our time around the pool we were never bothered by the staff and there was no music played. The entertainment team during the day around the pool were amazing. They arranged, ping-pong matches, morning yoga, water polo, water exercises and a few other fun games. Nothing was forced on you to participate. The hotel entertainment at night was great. Big shout out to the entertainment crew around the pool during the day, especially considering you helped with the night entertainment too. We had an amazing, relaxing week away, thank you to all the staff at the hotel. I have read a few bad reviews on the hotel and staff and I don't understand why? Will definitely be returning to this hotel.

  if you’re a family on a tight budget this hotel is fine- anyone else don’t bother. this was fine for us as we were in and out alot- good to just sleep and eat but actually enjoying the hotel…. if you’re used to that hyatt accommodating service you will not find that here. i feel like there wasn’t a single question i asked staff that the answer wasn’t “no”. i stayed preferred club “ULTIMATE LUXURY”. there was nothing luxury about the experience i ordered a meal and asked for 2 sides and they said it only brings one. this is all inclusive so i said can i order a separate extra side- nope! my husband who was not eating asked for the singular side and they said they cannot serve him just a side without ordering a plate? okay…. seems like we’re about to waste ordering a plate for just a side? next day i ordered a trio of tacos. i really liked one of the meats so the next time i ordered i asked if they could all be the same meat. nope! has to be one of each. again all inclusive- i’d end up ordering 3 portions and leaving the 2 i did not want…? don’t know what’s so difficult about this request when i see them making each one individually. cannot stress this point enough- we stayed all inclusive preferred. we would go to the main hotel bars and they told me i cannot have aperol unless i paid? i said im all inclusive preferred and they said its only included in the preferred bar (which closes at 6pm whereas the others are open until midnight). every other bar had the aperol behind them, open, and were using them but would not serve it to me even though it is clearly part of my package. i understand if it was only located in the preferred bar but that was not the case it was clearly there and being used. so then we go to the preferred bar (the next day once it opened) got my aperol- great. my husband orders a regular old tequila sprite… nope they can’t make it here you have to go to the other bar to order it! we asked for just tequila then? nope. they have the individual ingredients but cannot give them to you. you can only order from the menu. menu had a margarita but they couldnt simply stop filling the cup at tequila lol. husband asked for the margarita but frozen…. nope!!! they were actively making frozen daiquiris, they had a blender- but no cant do that. kind of ridiculous we paid for this “exclusive” “higher quality” stay and you’re telling me to walk across the hotel to the regular bar for something literally sitting behind them. the room service would leave our empty drink glasses for daysssss. there was days the preferred “lounge” didnt open on time. the buffet did not check our room/package a single time we walked in. anybody could have been paying for the half board or breakfast package and gotten away with eating every meal. i truly felt like i was robbed of my money paying the ultimate luxury stay

  The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There are many onsite food options. There are a few different swimming pools and a few different bars. The Sugar Reef bar was very convenient. The beach is easily accessible.

  Dreaming of Calvia

  Lovely hotel in the quiet end of Calvia, we came as a group of friends. We’d booked the upgraded privileged package which we can thoroughly recommend. This includes access to a dedicated pool and bar which is perfect for a chill out. We were well looked after at the Palm bar by Sebastian (great cocktails) and Pablo (club sandwich was amazing). Rooms really clean. Our only criticism would be that there is no food available after 9.30pm.

  The real big downside of this resort is oceano bar where everything is a problem for this fallon character who is meant to serve bar but does everything but.the food in the evening restaurant is disgusting !!!! Too many young boys running around causing havoc !! Won’t return!!!!
