We had an excellent experience at Dreams Onyx and would definitely recommend it, particularly for families. We were there to celebrate my husband’s bday with a large group of family. The staff were generous and accommodating. We upgraded to Preferred Club and loved the access to the family pool, which was practically a private pool with our own bartender. Kids loved the Explorer’s Club too. Plenty of restaurants and activities for everyone.

Perfect place to relax
The staff here are incredible. They alone can make the trip amazing! Food was great and the drinks were fast. Very relaxing resort. The swim up rooms were great and having the people bringing drinks right to your pool was awesome. Lots of entertainment in the main pool during the afternoons too!

A wonderful family vacation
Although our trio started off rocky with our airline misplacing our bags, we quickly felt like family at Dreams Onyx. The resort is beautiful. Everything is so well taken care of. The restaurants are lovely and the food selection is great. We loved our early morning coffee from the Coco Cafe and our walk on the beach. The shows that we were able to watch were entertaining! Our son loved the fire show. The beach and pools were kept clean and were so refreshing. The highlight of our stay were the staff. We became friends with Alvaro, who brought us tons of fun drinks and treated us and our son like family. He was kind, funny, and told us stories while genuinely making our days brighter! It was a true pleasure to get to know him and we hope one day we can see him again. Thank you Dreams Onyx!

Dreams Onyx is by far one of favorite resorts. It’s the exceptional people that make the difference.
We discovered this little piece of paradise last year and had to return to make sure we weren’t just dreaming of its charming existence. We have now been to Dreams Onyx twice and will definitely return again. When you arrive at the resort many smiling faces will greet you with..”WELCOME HOME”! The excellence in service you experience here makes you want to come back again and again. The food is great with many options to choose from. The resort is just the right size not too big and not too small. It is very easy to maneuver and find your way even after a few beverages. The beach area is beautiful and we enjoyed swimming in the ocean. The water was so clear and felt great. Rent a beach cabana for a special beach day. It was fun. Every employee we encountered was friendly and accommodating. Of course there were some exceptional individuals that absolutely made our trip over the top wonderful. Alejandro our Butler and now a forever friend made sure every request was performed perfectly and nothing was too big or small for him. He was always checking on us making sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves to the fullest. He is a perfectionist and we were blown away at his commitment to our satisfaction. He is a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time sharing stories and learning more about the country, people and the resort area. Nelis is our favorite server at the preferred pool bar. We met her on the last visit and we were looking forward to seeing her again. Our glasses were never empty and loved having conversations with her and who could resist her beautiful smile! She always makes us feel like we were spending the day by the pool with a dear friend…which we were! We could set our clocks by Kervin in Room Service. He was so punctual and friendly and every order was perfect. Waking up to Kervin every morning delivering that delicious Dominican coffee was a great start to every day. Julio was our favorite bartender. He always made special drinks for us and the best Shirley Temples for our son. He is pleasant and always performed his service with a smile. Stephanie the UVC Rep is great! She was knowledgeable, friendly and VERY accommodating! If you are considering this resort for your next vacation as a couple, family, friends or solo…I suggest you go and Have Fun!

Vacation get away in Punta Cana Dream Onyx’s Resort and Spa
This was the best experience ever. Would definitely recommend and return. My family and I spent a week there and it was amazing. The rooms were great, bed a little to firm, but they brought me a mattress pad to accommodate my needs. They made sure I didn’t want for nothing.
