Never again
The resort is refurbished which wouldn't be bad but the rooms were not done well. There were sometimes lights on when walking around at night in the hall areas but not always which is a little scary. The water was completely off for about 17 hours starting around 11pm one night until mid afternoon the next day. The toilets could not be flushed and the air didn't work during this time and no showering. The pool bar was a constant party loud, loud, music guests over served puking in the pool. I had to beg to hear Bob Marley from the DJ. The food was ok but it was a constant struggle to get into sit down restaurants. The lobby area and grounds are pretty but the rooms are small, water from the shower runs all over which makes the floor extremely slippery. When the air isn't working the floors are full on condensation which made the floor slippery also, we had towels spread through out the floor in the room. I would not return to this resort.

Vacation is what you make it!
We stayed Diamond Club, worth every penny. While the weather wasn't the best, all staff work hard to make your stay a memorable one. Butlers Akean and Teon took care of our every need, coffee in the morning, Red Stripe in the fridge and wine for the evening. Charmaine the housekeeper was top notch. Maria and the beach crew took care of every need, Pina coladas, jerk chicken, nachos you name it. Ransford and AnnaLee our servers at dinner on the beach, Grazzie and Dorado made our dinners more enjoyable. We ate and tried everything, favorites were the fish, bread, Jamaican coffee but most of all the Jamaican people!

Not good
The hotel is nice and the room is cozy with the new renovations. However, the food, service, and entertainment is a -0. The food has no flavor. Not authentic jamaican food. There is no entertainment. Other resorts have shows, live bands, something to entertain the guests. The service is awful but I understand why. The employees are working extremely hard and not being compensated fairly. They look miserable, unhappy, and unpleasant. It's expensive to stay at the hotel. Very over priced and not worth the price.

Great Fit Program
Lanacha was a great instructor for the H20 Fit course. Julian at the Aquarius bar is so friendly and the best bartender. Entertainment was great. Nigel the bellhop was nice friendly and informative. Some areas good be better, faster, but overall good.

Good relaxing stay
Room was huge and confortable. AC worked great. Fit team did a great job keeping us a little active with yoga, zumba, aquafit, etc. Lanasha was great ! Many restaurants options : tex mex, japanese, steakhouse, indian, etc, and the best the Jerk Hut. The shows were too early at 9h pm, and then the resort became quiet. Good for resting, but too quiet if you want animation. You need to have dinner too early to see the shows. Resort was clean and the beach was nice.
