Feb 13, 2026Exceptional hospitality from the hotel staff especially the ones from the Vela restaurant
We came to Hilton for a birthday celebration for mom and the staff was truly amazing. The Vela staff worked efficiently and as a team to provide truly exceptional service. I would like to name several staff that really stood out for us. Gonzalo, Rosario, Norma, Esmerelda, Mario, Pedro, Gilberto, and Bianca the servers at Vela were really attentive and super friendly. They showed us even more attention than those from the specialty restaurants. Jose, who worked by the pool, set up a birthday banner on the cabana and always made sure we had a drink in our hands. The service and hospitality with a smile really went a long way. The drinks were better than any all inclusive hotel I’ve stayed at. They had premium liquor on hand and that really makes a big difference. Everyone in our party would come back and frequent this hotel again. Amazing hotel and well maintained. I highly recommend it to anyone.

20th anniversary celebration
This was our first time at this property. We were so happy with the entire experience. We especially loved Cocomar for lunch. Martin was fantastic! The swim up bar and poolside service was friendly and fast. We caught the martini bar on the last night and it was wonderful. I wish we would have discovered it sooner. Our room was clean and patio had a perfect view for watching the sunset and whales. We will be back!

After spending eleven nights at this resort, the only negative was the fact that it took an inordinate amount of time for hot water to emerge from the bowels of the place to grace my bald head at the shower-head. (Please,'negative nillies,' out there, get a backbone. Wait 'till you get to heaven for perfection... or just stay home until then.) Other than the water issue, we had a great time: great food, great location, right along the beach, with all the wave action one could hope for at any seaside location. But in my estimation, what makes the place top-of-the-mark are its employees, the myriad of Mexican personalities that make up its driving force. It's almost as if they've been programmed by some divine force to be forces of hospitality. Never once was I greeted by less than a smiling face -- faces happy in their work, happy in the opportunity to be of service. Bravo, mi amigos! So many special people: like Jose Maria and Martin at the Cocomar and our favourite fitness-centre guy... EV ER... Wyional. In famous Terminator fashion... know... that I'll be back!

Wonderful Experience in Puerto Vallarta Hilton
What an incredible gem of a hotel and team at the Hilton Puerto Vallarta! It is such a great experience that surpassed expectations. Our family was there to celebrate a 70th birthday party and the team at the Vela Food Hall just went above and beyond and made it such a memorable and wonderful experience for our family. Our servers were just incredible ---their attentiveness, warmth and kindness made our day each day we were there. With deepest gratitude for making my mother's 70th so special, thank you Gonzalo, Rosario, Norma, Esmerelda, Mario, Pedro, and Biana at the Vela. I also want to thank our wonderful servers by the cabanas who made my mother feel like a birthday queen! I am so appreciative of all of your hard work and thoughtfulness in making our trip and stay so wonderful. Thank you Jose and Daniel!
