Wow! What a amazing hotel. I stayed here for a week as a guest with family but staying in a single room. Room - Amazing! So comfortable, bright and airy. Great lighting and multiple mirrors and storage. The maids were so good. Also top top- under the dressing table mirror there is a funny lookin switch with multiple buttons- its for bluetooth surround sound speakers in the room, including the shower! Pool - comfortable sun beds, beautiful warm salt water pool, perfect to refresh and not too cold! Santiago is brilliant with helping book the sunbeds. The booking system is brilliant! Food - WOWOWOW! The food is the best hotel buffet i have experienced. I have traveled the world to 5* resorts and this is on par with the 5* Secrets in Jamaica! I was absolutely blown away. There is something for literally everyone, lobster, oysters, fresh pasta, pizza, roasts?, paella, fish... EVERYTHING! And it tastes absolutely incredible. I Cannot fault any of the food. Also, there is a lovely man on an evening cooking the fresh steak/ meat/fish- what a lovely smiley man he is and cooks to perfection. Entertainment - a few good shows, especially enjoyed the light show at the gourmet market, with the dancers and singer. Some of the other entertainment could do with some improvement. Also, the violinist was incredible and did such a beautiful performance - maybe consider having her later in the evening so more people see the performance. I love that the hotel is very eco friendly and doesn't promote any single use products such as plastics, napkins etc. If i could suggest anything is please sort the confusion with the water at the pool bar. Sometimes its free, sometimes its 3euro for a small glass. Guests should not be paying for this when its literally free inside the hotel. Water is a bare minimum and its unfair expecting guests to pay. Something else i LOVED was the ice cream around the pool at 3pm, such a treat! My final comment is not the hotels fault at all and its more of a warning to guests. Costa Adeje is a party area along the ocean front. Basically a lot of drunks, unpleasant clientele, and blaring music. It is not a nice place to visit down at Fanabe as its been ruined by tourists. I would recommend going to Del Dueqes - next beach along. DO NOT let that sway your decision but if you want 5* beaches, dont go to fanabe beach below the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Outstanding that is all
First thing you need to know about this hotel is that the staff actually enjoy their jobs, which makes your stay extra good. The hotel is lovely big enough for everyone but not too big. Rooms very well presented comfy beds and everything you could possibly need Bathroom well appointed with lovely complimentary toiletries. Pool is great and they had just started to have a ‘reserve bed’ system either via the app or by the absolutely wonderful young lady who you can ask for help finding a bed, of which there are loads. The food is plentiful and the omelette station is beyond good, lovely lady who is really pleasant and brilliant at omelet's. The grill station has one of the best chefs I have ever witnessed, I cannot state how helpful and friendly the staff are. You have got to try the Gourmet Market, it’s fun and the food is outstanding. The bar area is comfy and there are video screens with fish swimming by, I suppose this is a case of, ‘you have to be there to see it’ but it’s very clever and entertaining, and speaking of entertaining, the morning aerobics are entertainment in themselves, it doesn’t matter if you don’t join in, just watch the show, it’s hilarious. Genuinely I am not easy to please but I love this hotel, we have already booked for next year. Congratulations Iberostar select sabila you are truly outstanding. Thank you from both of us

Highly recommend . No kids. Would definitely go again.
Just been to this hotel with Easy Jet holidays. It was a 6 day break with private transfers to and from the airport which was well worth the money. I cannot say anything negative about the whole experience. The hotel, the room, the food, the pool, the bars and the staff were all fantastic and no kids. We would definitely go again.

Amazing experience we went for the sangria workshop and it was a great experience, the staff made us feel so welcome 10/10. Cristian was was extremely entertaining, the sangria workshop had us laughing the entire time, fully thought out workshop having participants sample shots of the alcohol involved and letting us know everything he was doing with fun dances and audience participation

Fabulous iberostar selection sábila
Just back from a week's break at the iberostar selection sábila, hotel and staff were amazing as was the food. No problem with the sun bed booking system on the app always plenty of choice, which is more than can be said at the hotel opposite with the morning towel sprint as soon as the cleaners were finished !
