A beautiful hotel
I am writing this from our terrace, midway through our holiday. The hotel is beautiful. Although it looks huge in photos, the hotel is actually quite cosy. We have a premium double with terrace and my father has a side sea balcony room. The rooms are similar in size, but the terrace room has its own loungers (the rooms sit a level up from the pool) and there is a private jacuzzi on the level. The buffet changed daily, with plenty of choice to suit everyone. There were staples every night, such as breads, various cheeses and charcuterie, and a pasta selection. The hot plates had meat and accompaniments. There was always a sun lounger available from the pool and nobody reserves them which is fantastic. The evening entertainment was brilliant. I normally don't enjoy that sort of thing, however the musicians were talented and it wasn't cheesy. Cuban music was played on the first evening and a male singer doing well-known songs last night. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Any issues are resolved very quickly and maintenance staff go around taking care of things. Cleanliness is incredible. Staff were cleaning handrails on the stairways and balcony screens. The bathroom toiletries are lovely (spa-like). The bed is so comfortable. Breakfast is served from 7.30am - 10.30am, which is great as we prefer to eat a little later and skip lunch. Breakfast had a variety of fruit juices and smoothies, fresh fruit, yoghurts, granola etc. Fry-up options are there alongside the continental selection, with an enormous amount of pastries. Bar prices are reasonable and the drinks are good. Lovely cocktails. The bar facing the beach is a real sun trap. So far, I cannot fault the hotel at all. My father came with us and it is his first holiday in 23 years. He is loving everything about the hotel and has said he may return even if on his own.

One week stay in April 2025
Really enjoyed my stay for a week at the end of April. Hotel in an excellent location next to the beach in the resort. Good links by bus from a stop just along the road to the airport (line A2 - €5 one way) in 15 mins and Palma (line 25 - €2 one way) in about 20 mins. Reception staff very welcoming at check in and helpful throughout the stay. Staff in the bar, at breakfast and poolside. Bonus of ice cream and drinks being brought round for everyone was a nice touch. Plenty of sun loungers available. Although the hotel was busy and late check out was initially unavailable Chrysula was able to arrange this on the final evening of my stay a huge thank you. Marc and the maintenance staff sorted a minor issue replacing the battery in my safe in 10 minutes from raising it.

A perfect long weekend away ☀️
We chose this hotel as we went for a long weekend and wanted to be fairly close to Palma but beachfront. Great location in Can Pastilla. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost €17 and took about 10 mins. We had already chose our room ahead on the iberostar app and had booked a premium terrace pool view room 113 and it was perfect. The private sun loungers were the best and would choose the room type again. We went half board as good value for money for the evening buffet and again glad we did. Just charged our drinks to our room each night. Breakfast and dinner buffet both lovely and lots of choice. We visited Palma and the bus stop just outside the hotel (Number 25 🚎) took you to the cathedral for €2. Lots of building work going on in Palma and they were preparing for a boat show so a lot closed off but still could walk it. Had lunch in Hard Rock Cafe and watched the world go by. Outside the hotel the beach is closed off for maintenance but just a short walk and open again. Walked all along the beachfront and lovely and flat lined with bars and restaurants. We got the bus back to the airport (Number 2a) for €5 from the bus stop just outside the hotel. Weather fantastic but definitely needed a hoody for the evenings as chilly!

Perfect
Brilliant hotel, adults only with lots to do in the area. Staff were excellent and accommodating in every area. View from the room were superb and the environment was clean and inviting. Food was great we went on a HB basis. Lots of bars and restaurants locally if needed. Palma is a bus ride away, around 20 min only a few euro. Lots of place to hire bikes and a stones throw from The beach. Short distance from Palma airport.

Great experience
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff. It was my bday and I am vegan. The hotel didn’t have a vegan cake so they went out of their way to organise one. Also they answered all our questions so patiently and so well. All the Staff was excellent - Fabrioza. thais and Chrysoula. Chrysoula took sooo much care of everything we needed and everything relayed to the birthday cake and celebration. The attention to detail was great. I have stayed at other IHG hotels before but this particular one had excellent customer service really thank you to the 3 people mentioned above. I Hope the hotel is able to give all of them, especially Chrysoula some special recognition. They really deserve it.
