Such a great place to stay! Right on the most gorgeous beach with shade from trees, lounge chairs, restaurant/bar with perfect ocean view, yoga on the beach, laundry facilities, valet or self parking. Large comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff. 3 minute walk to great coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Only downside was there was no microwave in the room. Microwave was available in the gift store and in laundry room though. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing trip
The vintage yet modern feel was amazing. The staff were very professional and helpful. The free valet parking made long days enjoying the island a nice treat to just get back to the comfortable room and relax. The lava lave restaurant was amazing also right on the beach.

Best value holiday on Kauai
The welcome and attentiveness of the staff made our stay one of the most memorable holidays ever. The renovated rooms and impeccable service by housekeeping each day added to the already exceptional value. Can highly recommend giving the free bike rentals a spin, and try the happy hour at the Lava Lava Beach Club for sundowners! Mahalo Kauai Shores- we'll be back!

Great place and nice ambiance
Awesome location and very friendly staff. The rooms were nice and spacious, modern bathrooms and nice mattresses for a great sleep Access to the nearby shops, stores and local activities are all very close and only 15 minutes from the airport. Valet parking was a nice touch!

Relaxing getaway with real aloha
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Buildings were stylish, modern, and spotlessly clean. Staff exuded warmth, aloha, and a desire to be helpful at all hours. It was the thoughtful amenities and hospitality that made a big difference throughout our stay. For example, the text message to ensure we had a smooth check-in when our flight was delayed, the filtered water station in the lobby, access to a self-serve laundry room, fresh towels on demand, lovely tiki torch lighting at nighttime, and clean bathrooms thoughtfully placed throughout common areas. Just walking around the beautifully landscaped grounds felt like an escape. The hotel had such a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. One of our favorite things to do was sit out on the lanai and watch the birds. I also did the complimentary yoga class by the beach a few times and loved it. Valet parking was included but we ended up self-parking and had no problem getting a spot every time. It was great that we didn't have to drive anywhere for meals, as shops, groceries, and restaurants at Coconut Marketplace were only a few steps away. A good mood was secured with nightly entertainment and enthusiastic bartenders at the Lava Lava Beach Club. An all around wonderful stay that would be hard to top. Just watch out for those Mai Tais!
