    Amazing Vacation

    This is our first time at this resort and it was an amazing experience from the moment we arrived. Our butler Hector “the protector”He greeted us within minutes of arriving, showed us around and took care of all our needs. He booked all our restaurants for us. We ended up with a 12 hour flight delay and we were unable to get in touch with our airline, so he took care of everything for us and kept us comfortable for our last day. The bar and restaurant staff are amazing, Angel, Ivan and Jesus to name just a few! Thanks again for an amazing vacation and huge shout out to Hector!!!

    Delightful Experiences Surpass my Expectations

    This is my first time at this resort! What has made my stay fantastic is the wonderful staff who work tirelessly to provide everything we that we could possibly want or need. A shout out to Hector our "butler" and Jose the pool /beach staff who have gone above and beyond looking after us. There are simply no words to describe their generosity, service and professionalism. To all the staff at Casa del Mar who found my mobile phone and promptly sent it to lost and found. All the cash I had tucked into my mobile cover remained untouched. The honesty of this staff truly moves me. More kudos to Filiberto, Jahir, Javier and Aida (restaurant wait staff) and Jesus (Privilege Bartender) whose kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to make my stay and culinary experiences here really enjoyable. A few suggestions to consider for resort owners/managers: *Lined pickleball courts *Disallowing guests to hold pool and beach chairs hostage *Elliptical in gym *Timely maintenance of bikes so that guest can actual take advantage of bike tours *Comfortable seating like in the lobby throughout the resort I would highly recommend this resort to friends regardless of my suggestions because of the staff. I myself will return if there is significant follow up to my suggestions. Date of stay: February 2025

    Would I return, sorry but no

    To start off the staff were incredible, special mention to Victor and Ricardo, who looked after us for breakfast at the Italian restaurant. Another thumbs up to bartender Wilbur at the adults only pool. If your are looking for a beach to walk this resort is not for you; they try to keep it clear of seaweed but are fighting a losing battle, plus beach is not that wide. Next is the restaurants which they need to improve, not enough al carte (if you belong to their Privilege Club you can book all your restaurants in advance). If you don't belong to the club you have to have their app downloaded and be prepared to try to book them at eight o'clock each morning. The problem is that when you actually get into one and see empty tables (assume these are Priviledge Club no shows); it makes you kinda mad at this system. The restaurants that we managed to get into were the French, Brazilian, and Italian (which was the one we liked the best). They also have a Japanese with five teppanyaki tables (a maximum of three were used at one time), but no separate sushi tables. Also enjoyed Route 66 but be prepared to dress a little warmer, air conditioning set too high. We really liked their coffee shop but it doesn't open until 8:00 am - rather late in our opinion. Four pools at this resort but none are heated, the adults pool is very quiet - think they need to play some soft music because there are guests who bring their own speakers and play music that is not to everyone taste, so if they just play some music you would stop this. Rooms in adult section have been renovated; lots of storage and comfortable beds even though we asked for a king and got two doubles. Now the biggest problem for your rooms is lack of water pressure when trying to take a shower (and a couple of times there was no hot water); this is a major problem that needs to be addressed. So once again you need managers walking the resort daily to ask and communicate with your customers. Please take note travelers that there is No Smoking at this resort by order of the government, but there is always a few that think they are above the law.

    Fun in the sun with Jose Lopez!

    Our host Jose Lopez was so helpful. He got us a cabana and my wife and I were able to have a relaxing afternoon. He made sure we had drinks and were taken care of. We really enjoyed his friendly demeanor- he was always smiling. He also made sure our friends had lawn chairs to lay on. Jose is a huge asset for your resort!!!

    Jose the concierge at the El Beso pool was so helpful on our vacation. He assisted us in every way- he is so professional and courteous. Because of him, we will be visiting your resort again next year. Thank you very much for having such a awesome employee.
