    Concerning Concierge and Security/Incident Supports

I have a few more days left here and I feel uncomfortable and very concerned to leave my room. It is unsafe and the 2 at the concierge made it clear that guests reports of theft are not important. Naomi and Brian ensured to gaslight me and let me know when a local on THIER property steals from guests, the victim will be interrogated and their belongs will be torn through while they let the thief walk away scotch free because they are a local. Thank you Brian and Naomi, I will be sure to make everyone aware of this for the remaining of my stay- have a great day!

    32 + 35 year old couple - honest review.

I was slightly disappointed by this resort - overall it’s good. Food 8/10 - buffet restaurant was decent everything we ate was lovely and there was plenty of choices for breakfast and lunch. Only ate dinner in here once. The other restaurants were all good with good choices on the menus. Room - no complaints about the room it was spacious and always clean - bedding wasn’t changed regularly and I had to ask for it to be changed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest and kinda sunk in the middle but it was ok. Bars - this was my biggest issue - the main plaza bar just didn’t really have an atmosphere and there was no music playing or anything unless it was the 9pm entertainment. So it’s a 24hr bar and for 23hrs there is a lack of atmosphere. The pool bars one I didn’t even go near but had to walk past everyday - it was more like something you would get on a tacky 18/30 resort in magaluf. It wasn’t pleasant at all. But each to their own. The second pool bar was ok a bit more pleasant to lie at. Salsa bar “the club” well there just isn’t much to say about this lol. The nighttime entertainment - I actually quite enjoyed the shows my only issue was I felt like they came on too late 10pm if you had your dinner about 7ish and then went to the plaza bar which didn’t really have a vibe it kinda killed the buzz you’d got sitting having dinner. Bar staff - some bar staff were great and made really decent drinks others - others weren’t as good and it was just syrupy crappy drinks. Other guests - there was a real issue with other guests thinking it was ok to walk around with their music playing out loud for everyone to hear - I personally don’t think this is acceptable anywhere and it’s what headphones are for. It’s not enjoyable for anyone when your have more than one person playing their music out loud round the pool and on the beach. The volume that people felt the need to talk at in restaurants and round the pool/on the beach spoiled a few nice dinners and days out because they obv thought what they had to say everyone should hear. This just isn’t what I’m used to with other resorts I’ve been to - especially in the nice restaurants. The constant smell of weed on the beach - again not what I would expect from a 5* Tui premium resort. Over hearing the beach sellers giving out prices for cocaine and organising with groups of people cocaine orders. Again not quite what I would expect from a resort of this supposed standard - other Mexican resorts I’ve stayed on it’s been private beaches so not sure why beach sellers were even allowed on this beach as they were pests also. The grounds are stunning and the wildlife is fun to watch. The spa treatments are amazing but I do think due to the beach sellers selling massages it must cost the hotel a good bit of custom which is a shame. Overall the hotel at face value is decent but there is a lot of little things missing compared to other resorts I’ve stayed at and a totally different clientele to what I’ve experienced at these types of resorts before.

I will avoid this resort if you don't want ruin your holiday

The worst 5 stars resort service.Without tips clients will be treat with ignorance and arogance .so be prepared to discuss everyday day...honestly I was really disappointed that in in a restaurant Yucatan they can be so rude like the manager of the restaurant Lizbeth or Abi...The resort is really impressive luxurious I will say but ...because of the services is not worsed to stay there..you will just ruined your holiday. I've been in so many resorts in Riviera Maya and Cancun but this resort is the worst ..and its a shame because hotel is really nice..but probably managers of this place they are not interested in a customer services. In a room they forget to put water in a fridge or towels...most of the days.If you call reception nobody will respond you. If you go to reception try to complain they will be only rude and arrogant. This is 3 stars with indulgence for very poor services..not 5 stars. I will never come back to this resort.

For reference I've stayed at over 30 all-inclusives, some repeats, and I'm a go with the flow kind of person...this time I traveled with a group of 9 and we all stayed in the adults only section which is what platinum yucatan princess is...I booked the platinum deluxe swim out while the rest booked the Jr deluxe suites...my room was the ONLY one that was clean and like the pictures! My friends were scattered over bldgs 2 and 4 and every last one of those rooms was DIRTY and not like the pictures they advertise! Believe me when I tell you about the room situation...the resort needs to seriously update the Jr deluxe rooms! The bathrooms were dirty, the grout in the floors and the floors of the rooms themselves were dirty, the corridors leading to the rooms had hair and debri in stairwells, furniture in rooms was outdated...it was awful! 2 of my friends were in bldg 2 but it was so bad they literally baggered front desk until they moved them to bldg 4...they said the room was still dirty but the decor was better...one of my friends never got moved to a cleaner room instead housekeeping came to "clean" and the bathroom still had gum stuck in a corner! Now let's talk about the attitude resort management fosters at this resort for saving seats at beach and pools: they post these signs around to not put towels down, so certain entitled clientele decide that they can show up late and just remove your personalized beach towels from seats YOU ARE USING because they want your seats...mind you we're not ones to get seats early and then return in the afternoon! No we are early risers...some of us run on the beach, others watch the sunrise...then we go to breakfast, returning to our seats an hour or so later! I had to literally tell 3 different people off 3 days in a row for trying to take our seats! 1 said that the security guard told them to remove our personalized towels! Didn't care, you get your butt up early to get a "good" seat like I did or you get what you get! Someone even had the nerve to remove my items from the Bali bed I had reserved across from my personal swim out room! That person was housed on the 3rd floor of the bldg and not even entitled to a Bali bed! It was ridiculous! To avoid this hassle, I just stayed at my swimout with my group. Management needs to take those STUPID signs down because someone is going to get into a fight over their seats! The layout of the platinum yucatan side is very strange...it took us 1 day to find the main pool! It's at bldg 2 btw...Why is it hidden and not prominently displayed???? I'm so glad I had a swimout pool! Although you could get premium liquor if you asked for it, the mixology was vastly different at each bar! No consistency in mixing drinks...some bartenders ignored you, others were nice, and my group are tippers! The buffet was below average for lunch and dinner! Of all things the ice cream was terrible! In fact desserts in general were lacking the right amount of SUGAR! I love sweets, but their sweets were not good! Whatever you do, find the beach restaurant and bar on the platinum yucatan beach because the food was very good! Also the Ala carte restaurants were very good for dinner. Karaoke night was a blast! The grease show and caribbean show were amazing too! So the above is why I listed this resort as just average...my swimout room, the beach restaurant on the platinum yucatan beach, the disoronno sours, and the shows were what made this resort tolerable for me. I do NOT recommend this resort to anyone because you will be mad if you stay here... my group was! And no I will not return to this one...I spent more money here to get less satisfaction!

Well worth the money. Food was well above average and the staff very helpful. Only negative was long pants for dinner. All the restaurants were decent with the only negative being the sushi bar. Mail pool was fun without being obnoxious. Overall very satisfying.
