  Excellent, need some improvement on your wine

  Your red wine and white wine has very poor taste need some improvement. But definitely I would come back again with my family and I would highly recommend this resort. Supervisor Chad is very great. Great asset to the company.

  Good hotel

  Nice hotel, pleasant staff, lovely rooms, food was excellent! That said, the one downside was that the pool experience was spoiled by one of the residents. Although the lady with him, who we thought was his carer, was very apologetic, the actions of one man actually scared the children. For some reason, this strange Englishman insisted on doing water aerobics on the side of the pool every day but not in the water. This really alarmed the children so much that they were scared to go to the pool. I know the hotel can't keep the guests in check, but this was on another level! Apart from that, a great stay and would highly recommend!!

  RAMPANT ABLEISM

  NOT wheelchair friendly. We were told it was a "courtesty" to be assigned a wheelchair accessible room IF one of the FOUR in a hotel of over 400 rooms were available...do that math. They will happily take your money and book you a "regular' room...and maybe there will be one that's accessible when you get there. No guarantees tho. I guess you camp in the lobby if they don't have one free. You can't book at the hotel and neither the website nor the phone reservation give the option for a wheelchair accessible room. The buried truth is that ONLY a travel agent can reserve it for you so...buyer beware. I slid off a supposedly accessible path with a big slant, ended up in the bushes with an aching neck and back for days. Fortunately my husband and another guest were able to pull my chair out of the bushes. Staff did nothing to assist. I've been here 9 edays now..No fixes have been implemented. No accommodation has been made. I was ready to leave after day 4 but it would have cost more to leave due to extra flights not included in the Sunwing package. Management jerked us around for days cuz the ac wasn't working properly. Made us change rooms to one infested with sand fleas (better than the roaches in the other room?), and less accessibility despite us saying we didn't want to due to my physical limitations. They promised they had checked the new room and the facilities were all working well. ZERO change. Finally after FOUR DAYS days of wasted time and waiting for techs that never show up, he admitted the ac doesn't go below 22 degrees and had been wasting our time. In compensation for all the literal pain I am in he offered a bottle of (not actual) champagne, a fruit plate or to book a restaurant reservation that we are perfectly capable of doing ourselves. Then we got called to his office for the PR manager Davion to gaslight us and tell us we are "reaching" when we mentioned we thought that the watersports tours listed with no cost were part of the "all inclusive". It became so ableist and insulting that I terminated the conversation and left. All that is inclusive is booze and more booze (and the buffet is decent tho runs low fast and is completely lacking in any seasoning.LOL kayaks are free but not the life vests- that's a $50 USD deposit and of course, cash only. Meanwhile there is no ATM/ABM on site but for yet another $20 USD someone will drive you 13 min down the road to a gas station that has one. Even the tubing (which is a 15 min free ride was shockingly out of commission. Male staff has walked right into my room TWICE without permission because I forgot to throw the deadbolt. Women, beware. Today housekeeping knocked our door early AF. Someone told them we requested early cleaning. We did not. Housekeeper showed us the paperwork. Right there in black and white. Call customer service and we're told they have no record of that. And it must be a mistake/I must be wrong. This hotel is not in any way focusses on customer service. Last night I asked someone if there was an accessible bathroom on the floor and in the snarkiest voice she responded" right there, you don't see the sign"? No. I didn't maybe cuz of the big ole cart parked in front of the door blocking it and the tiny little letter on the sign *insert eye roll here* In short ableism is rampant, the service is horrible and the general vibes are a money grab and a push to move on. DO NOT try to linger over coffee or meal at the buffets they will grab your plate from under you before you are done eating.

  Great place for family and couples

  We stayed here and had an amazing time, food was great and sports staff was very entertaining. Shows were great and slept comfortably!! I was promised an upgrade but never got that unfortunately, we were still happen and content with what we had, also riu points plan is lacking communication with me for many other resorts I've been too im missing points but that's nothing to do with the resort!! Over all I'd say it's worth checking out this Negril Resort for your future plans!!

  Riu Negril...Deserved every single star!

  This hotel is a level above. The service is second to none, with everyone doing there part to the highest standards. From the lovely helpful staff on the front desk to the gardening and cleaning staff. Big shout out to Lenny who makes the quite pool and tranquil relaxing haven. Everyone one in the family felt looked after with great food and a very hard working catering and entertainment teams.
