General policies & fine print
Check-in Policy - Deposits or credit/debit card hold authorizations are not requested at check-in. Minimum age of 18 is required for check-in, an ID/Passport will be requested upon arrival.
Convention Policy : Groups traveling together can book this property for their stay taking advantage of group benefits such as 6th or 11th complimentary guest, Group dinner reservation, One complimentary cocktail hour with a selection
of appetizers, One complimentary massage for the group leader, Complimentary room upgrades to the next category, Fruit plate and bottle of wine for the VIP, Private check-in when arriving together, Welcome sign. Applicable with Wedding Collections and Social

Hotel Spring Break Policies :
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Santa Fé hotel.
2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense.

6. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.

Nice Hotel, very organized, with activities schedules and well organized. The staff fro m the restaurants is my only complain they all look tired and are not friendly at all and agressive (80% of them) but in the other hand staff from all bars, lobby, housekeepers, shows were very nice. The facilites are nice, the pools excelent. The food the best at Riu hotels ive visited. Im general I will recommend this place to anyone and will plan to come back The fact that is Adults Only makes the experience even better

The hotel property is huge with many pools to enjoy. We enjoyed the buffet for all meals as the selection was very large. There always seemed to be something going on so you are never bored. Most of the mess comes from the guests on the resort so be aware of that. The only thing was the sports bar snacks never seemed to be available or replenished timely. The bartenders and servers are all very attentive from what we experienced.

My Experience at RIU Republica
It was a A magnificent location, great Staff good crowd and very nice vibe. Great recreation for me. Almost wanted to stay forever. Only problem that we had to face was the key card suddenly stopped working. I couldn’t get to the room in the middle of the night and had to walk to the reception more than once in each time to get it fixed. It happened to me twice. Then we realized that happened once you put it behind or same pocket with your mobile phone. Please upgrade your technology on that. Other than that overall, it was a great experience and I thank you team RIU Republica

Riu República was fantastic.
We had a wonderful holiday! Our stay at the RIU hotel was fantastic, with delicious food and great entertainment every evening. The beach was stunning, and Punta Cana is truly a beautiful destination. Regards, Jason Vaughan

All staff in restaurant bars pleasant animation team only interacted with Spanish people not English people except Dennis he made laugh
