We absolutely felt like we were on vacation!
Things that we liked : The pool for kids and the daycare, different choices for food, ac in the room, massage services, the sitting area by the beach, the cafe, access to the ATM machine, taxi services, and the performances/entertainment, the pizza place (the main guy working in the pizza place was absolutely unprofessional), but you can grab slices of pizza until 7pm. Things we didn’t like : the food was cold and not very good at the buffet place, the fine restaurants required reservations and b/c we were late by a few mins the staff scolded us, the food portions at the fine restaurants were very small, the beds were not comfortable at all, the customer service inside the shopping store was not satisfactory, and the pools closed at 7 pm. We asked one of the workers where we could go for night life activities - clubs, bars, etc in Los Cabo’s, the worker said the closest area was about 40 mins from the hotel. The worker lied to us b/c they don’t want any of their guests to leave the hotel and instead enjoy the entertainment that the hotel provides. We discovered that downtown Los Cabo’s was about 5 mins away (driving time) on our second to last day of our trip. If you want to see more than just the hotel, get a taxi and visit downtown, it’s beautiful and has a historical significance. Regardless our trip was amazing! I want to give a shout out to Meldy (she worked in the cafe) and gave us excellent customer service every time we went into the cafe , Monse (the employee that works in the restaurant's and wears glasses), and Daniel that works in the bars by the pools, they treated me and my family like valuable guests, and we couldn’t thank them enough for being so kind and welcoming.

Great 70th Birthday Celebration
Had never been to Cabo before and looked at all the resorts. Royal Solaris got good reviews and looked nice. We were very pleased with everything! Our room was clean and service was great. All the employees always greeted us with a smile and Ola. The breakfast buffet was excellent and Jonathan was the best waiter. He was always there to help us bring our plates to the table and quick to pick up dirty dishes and refill drinks. If so much as a crumb was on the table he was there right away! I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and delicious breads. We had pizza everyday for lunch. It was excellent! We ate at Marco Pollo, one of the specialty restaurants, twice. Again service and food were good. No problem with reservations but I heard this was off season. Ate at Poncho’s speciality restaurant one night. All good. Only one night, the Italian buffet, left much to be desired. Eclairs were the best part. The beach was eroded from a storm a few weeks ago and I was not comfortable doing my usual walk plus it was very hot. I mostly sat by the quiet pool which I enjoyed. Did get there early to reserve a chair. Cocktail service at the pool was great. There was a little cafe and every day I had a latte, iced coffee or frappe. I would not hesitate to go to the Royal Solaris in Cancun because I loved the resort but Cabo’s beach was not for me. Prefer the Carribean or Gulf of Mexico but avoided because of hurricanes. Glad we did because Hurricane Helene was hitting the US as we were in Cabo.

Decent.
Decent overall experience. Water aerobics was fun. The shows were cool. The ocean views are cool. Pools are cool. There were a few staff members that rescued our stay, they are, Christian, Johnathan, and Alex always welcomed us into the dining hall with a smile! Great customer service from these gentleman. The front desk needs a little work.

Waiter at the buffet
Our waiter at the buffet, Aaron Verdugo was superb all the way around! His service was above board and he treated us like royalty. Everyday he had our drinks within seconds of us sitting down and always had a smile on his face and pep in his step!

Mom Birthday Vacation
Our stay at Royal Solaris had its ups and downs. The cleaning staff did an excellent job, keeping our room clean and comfortable the entire time. However, the front desk could use improvement. We asked several questions but often didn’t get helpful answers due to a lack of knowledge. Food options were limited. We arrived on Sunday, and by Tuesday, most restaurants were closed, leaving us with fewer choices. However, the dinner on our last night was great and definitely a highlight. Special mention to Laura from Café Solaris—she was fantastic and made our mornings more enjoyable. Overall stay was good.
