Returned to the Royalton after 8 years although the rooms are getting a bit tried the hotel has still a lot to offer.On arrival we were met by our butler in the diamond club reception and taken to our room to start our holiday ,we had great service and were contacted every day with updates on what’s happening in the resort and restaurant’s all booked in advance,a big thanks to our Butlers Enrique and Nassau for looking after us 🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻.The food in the hotel was delicious and we enjoyed the restaurants and the buffet,All the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay thanks again for the memories 👍

Great drinks, friendly smiles and great greetings
Augustine in the lobby bar is amazing and so is Rogelin. The cocktails are amazing and so is there attitude. Makes Cancun a memorable place

My stay was nice and relaxing. I traveled solo and stayed there for 9 days. The highlight of the stay was the butler service. Angelica and Victor made sure that I was taken care of. I also really enjoyed the conversations that Angelica and I had. The hotel is beginning renovations and it does show in certain places but the room was still decent. An area of opportunity for improvement is the food and diamond club distinction. The food was not very good and bland at best. As an example, I ordered a turkey sandwich via room service and it was not at all what I expected based on my experience with other resorts. The turkey sandwich was made with thin sandwich bread, sliced imitation cheese and lunch meat. Needless to say it was a disappointment. The other area of opportunity is there was really no distinction between diamond club food which is supposed to be an upgraded experience and the regular food. It was all the exact same. Overall I gave the resort a decent rating mostly based on the butler service.
