I would like to start by saying that we have been members of UVC/ now Hyatt for 10 yrs. We are currently impressions members. We have been to every brand they offer in many places. We had high expectations for this resort however did NOT Live up to the hype! Food: Would not give a excellent but a very good. Embers did not disappoint, Sea Soul brunch was amazing, Asian- try the Ginger Crush drink and the food was good also. Disappointed in the Italian - just not good! Roof top was average. Barefoot grill was ok- Nachos always cold. Market Cafe was one of the best buffets we have experienced with lots of options (tacos amazing). Dos Almas was also very good. Rooms: Very clean and well designed- but we were only in them a limited amount of time. Beach: Def not to be desired! Huge nets in the water to prevent sea weed. Pools: WOW! Biggest let down! 7 pools all cold. Entertainment pool was a fight everyday! If you were not up at 6:30am to get seats u didnt get one. The pool manager Daniel was a real jerk. I have never had to check in and out of my seats that i fought for EVER! We had to let one of them know when we were going to bfast and lunch. If we were gone longer than there expectations they would remove our belongings and give our chairs away. We were pretty much chained our chairs if we wanted to keep them. The last day was the worst when he decided to tell us that one of our group had to be at the chairs or he would take them... It got real heated with everyone! So u leave to go eat? What if we are in the pool? It really ruined our vacation and many others. The only highlight of the pool was Jamie- he was always trying to be reasonable and took care of us- getting towels, cleaning sunglasses, moving chairs and umbrellas. He was a delight! Bars: all good. However, Alan at the lobby bar was our FAV! He always had a smile on his face and made a killer ole fashion! We went there every nite he worked. Sports bar was also good however the upstairs bathroom was annoying. Spa: Massage was good. Hydro was just average - have been to better ones even at Dreams. Customer Service is def lacking here! We were celebrating our anniversary along with another couple. They didnt care. We had to ask for all the reg things we usually get from a secrets. (which was super annoying). It may seem simple but it is the little things that count. Banners on door, champs in room, special dessert, roses in room all usually come in a secrets - not this one! I had to ask for everything even though they asked us ahead of time for this info! Preferred Lounge: HUGE LET DOWN! Was the worst I have seen. Not only was the staff rude and ck in but the food and atmosphere was lacking! RULES are a huge thing at this resort. They do NOT serve mimosa for bfast until ten.. this was a let down for not us but everyone! Never seen this rule at any of the other brands. In closing we would prob not return to this resort! the inconsistency among the resorts seems to be a struggle but here u never knew what the day would bring. It is DEF not the HYPE that they try to make it to be!

Always a great time at this location. We enjoy our time there each year. Beautiful, well maintained resort, with great food options. Pools can be chilly, but amazing nevertheless. Recommend the Suki restaurant and their awesome manager Mr. Flores. He went above and beyond for our party.

The overall experience was a great one. The service and attention by the staff was amazing and the nightly shows (Fire, Silent Disco, Speak Easy) were all great! Overall the restaurants are very good and the food is very good. Only issue we had were some wait times as only 1 restaurant requires a reservation. Overall a resort that offers a lot of beautiful views, attentive staff and a great vacation!

I have stayed at over 30 all -inclusives. This was the worst stay by a lot. It was near impossible to get into any of the restaurants at night. All venues offered just average food and terrible portions. They were all understaffed. Terribly difficult to get drinks during the day at any of the pools. Also near impossible to get seating at all of the pools. This resort needs at least 50% more seating. I have never experienced any of these issues at any resort I've stayed at in the past. We were shocked and frustrated by our entire experience with this resort.

Fantastic 11 days at Secrets Moxche!
Fantastic stay at Secrets Moxche! Not only is the hotel in pristine condition but everything is thought of and catered for. The rooms are excellent and cleaned twice a day. There is plenty of pool options so you can choose if you want lively or quiet/relaxing. Food is incredible- so much to choose from and it’s all well cooked, fresh and in abundance. The entertainment are amazing, there is lots of daily activities for all interests and the staff make it fun and welcome everyone, always. Big shout out and thank you to Christian, Jose, Julio, Monica, Sergio, Axel, Jasmin, Victor & Felix from the entertainment team who were great throughout our 10 days here. Highly recommend this hotel! The food, location, staff and facilities were superb! I hope to return in the future and hopefully see some familiar faces!
