Amazing Stay at an Amazing Place.
Our stay at the St Regis was absolutely everything we thought it would be and more. To start, what an amazing place Bora Bora is -- the people, the scenery, the experiences all contributed to memories that will last a lifetime. Some of the highlights of our stay specifically were: - Our butler Laurie was a pleasure and true partner in getting the most out of the property and overall location. I have clientele that warned me about the butler service being a bit "too much" at times, but not us! We found that Laurie found the perfect balance of attentiveness while remaining charming and personable. The butler service was a differentiator that you will not find at competing resorts. - The tour guides and staff were all impeccable. From eating one night at La Villa Mahana (highly recommended) to our jet ski tours, we feel we got the most out of every activity. - The concierge service was excellent. We had some rough weather for a day that deferred some of our plans, and with a quick call, we had an email with updated itinerary without having to wonder or worry how the change of plans might conflict with existing itinerary. - I have never stayed on a property with such excellent and diverse food options. Lagoon was amazing as expected, but bam boo, the grille, and Far Niente were all of similar quality. You really cannot go wrong -- even our in-room dining was presented and served as you'd expect from a 5 star resort. - We scheduled a photoshoot with Gregory, and he seemed to get the best out of the scenery. He was a pleasure to work with, which again, aligned with our overall experience with the St. Regis staff. Some notables: This is a large resort, so expect to get your steps in if you don't take advantage of the bikes provided outside of your villa/bungalow. We are walkers and enjoyed it, but in an internet age of over exaggerations, the people who highlight the size of the resort aren't kidding! Do a boat or jet ski tour of the lagoon. You will not regret it. Do an ATV tour on the main island. The lookout points and guides are excellent. Go to the main island. It will be a cool experience and you can learn about/shop for Tahitian Pearls like we did. Also, Bora Bora originals is a great spot if you're looking for some cool stuff to bring home to the kids. If the price tag has you on the fence, just know that unless you go in the rainy season, it will be worth it. This is a 5 star resort that delivers on a true 5 star stay.

Even Better Than I Thought
My wife and I just stayed in an overwater bungalow for 5 nights. We were impressed by every single aspect of this resort. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, and will accommodate almost any request. But they are not stuffy or overbearing - it was the perfect level of service but also respect for a couple’s conversation and privacy. The resort is huge, so even though there are no roads to the resort or anywhere else to go, there is plenty of room to walk or bike. It is a solid 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants from the bungalows on the end of the platform, which was perfect for us. The lagoon they have is amazing for snorkeling - we rode our bikes there and snorkeled almost every day. It’s like being in an aquarium. The lagoon at the St Regis was a differentiator for us when picking a Bora Bora resort. The food was excellent too. Good quality and not too fancy. Maybe slightly more expensive than nice resorts in Hawaii. We used Pacific for Less to plan and book our trip and they took care of every detail. I highly recommend this resort and using a travel agent like Pacific for Less to have a seamless experience and as good of pricing as you can get so you can relax and enjoy Bora Bora. It is even more amazing than we expected. Must do - book a snorkel excursion that includes a stop at the coral garden (most of them do). This was an afterthought on our sharks and rays excursion but was the highlight of the trip. Best coral and snorkeling we have ever done.

A bucket list trip that exceeded expectations
My wife and I had wanted to visit the St. Regis for decades. It was a bonus when we found out that it was the location of one of our favorite movies, Couples Retreat. We didn’t really know what to expect, but it’s even better than we had hoped. The staff were all amazing and consistently went out of their way to make our stay unique and special. The scenery is incredible. The weather for us could not have been better. We were there 5 and 1/2 full days and the temperature only fluctuated between 82 and 83 degrees, day or night. Humidity was low, it only rained briefly on two of the days. If you’re looking for a Cabo San Lucas style party resort this is probably not the place for you. If you’re looking to relax and get pampered in one of the most beautiful island resorts, where you feel like you almost have the place to yourself, then you will have a great time. Only down sides I suppose are that if you do decide to indulge in cocktails, while they are pretty spectacular, they are very expensive, even by resort standards. Fortunately we paid for the food package through Costco so we could eat well without looking at the prices on the menu. We didn’t want to leave, and we are already trying to figure out when we will be able to return.

Paradise!
Took a 6-day family trip to Bora Bora, 4 adults and 2 grandkids. Sailed, snorkeled, jet skied and had general fun relaxing time. The planning can be quite time consuming, and a few fine details can be easily overlooked. Used Pacific for Less staff for all the planning help. The St. Regis is a special place in paradise, special thanks to Tessa and Florina, can't say enough.

Beautiful resort with a large price!
St Regis Bora Bora was a beautiful resort. Here are the pros and cons. Overwater bungalows are beautiful. Resort has nice beaches with lots of beach stuff provided. Here are the negatives, after paying 15,000 Us for 2 bungalows for 2 nights you would think hotel transfer from the airport would be free but it was 720 US dollars for 4 people?? Food is very expensive. Dinner for 4 was $800.00, hamburgers $45.00?? Breakfast provided was suboptimal. It is a beautiful place, just know it comes with a big price!
