We had a one week stay at the hotel. We received a nice welcome and the check in was quick. Our room was a 1 bedroom suite, which was very spacious and equipped. There was a large balcony with a table, chairs and sun loungers and had great sea and mountain views. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi (even when at the beach), the bed was large and comfortable, the kitchen had all we needed with a massive fridge/freezer. The TV was big and there were plenty of channels, there was also a radio. The air conditioning was excellent and the were also ceiling fans. Room service everyday, providing fresh towels, toilet paper etc and kept the place clean. The only thing which could have been better was having more reliable hot water, as it was a bit intermittent. Although it didn’t affect our stay, the decor might be in need of an update. The hotel is in a great location and only minutes from the beach. They also provide beach towels, loungers and parasols which are free, in a dedicated area at the end of the beach. There is also a pool area, again providing chairs and loungers, unfortunately there wasn’t any parasols for the loungers. All the staff around the hotel going about their work were all friendly. The hotel has a shop but it never seemed to be open for the entire week. The hotel toilets near the beech and pool were never open either, which was a bit inconvenient, even after raising it. We were told we could use the toilets in the neighbouring restaurant which isn’t related to the hotel. The frigate bay strip is just across the road, and full with a selection of bars and restaurants ranging in different styles of food, all backing onto the beach. There were alway taxi’s available at the front of the hotel. And the hotel also ran its own free shuttle service on Monday and Friday to the supermarket by the town (book a day in advance). There are a couple of smaller supermarkets which are walkable. Great valve and would do it all again. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

Jul 07, 2025Timothy Beach Resort - Convenient for Frigate Bay Strip
Timothy Beach Resort is ideally located with the lively Strip right on your doorstep, offering easy access to local bars, restaurants, and beach activities. The hotel features an on-site restaurant (not directly operated by the resort) serving full meals from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The staff were consistently pleasant and went out of their way to assist. Housekeeping was reliable, with the room cleaned daily and towels refreshed. As a solo traveller, I was allocated a mountain-view double room equipped with tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, king size bed, a full-size ironing board and iron, and ample cupboard space with a selection of hangers. While the room was spacious and comfortable, it felt somewhat outdated and would benefit from refurbishment. Access was via stairs, which may be a consideration for some guests. Wi-Fi was a bit iffy at times. The bathroom showed signs of wear, including cracked tiles that had been poorly repaired. The patio was quite small—approximately 4x4 feet. I requested a change of bedding as the throw was worn and the bed featured a brown blanket, which felt out of place for a Caribbean setting. Guests of the resort has access to a roof top pool and direct access to the beach with loungers and parasols. Shout out to Craig who kept the hotel complex clean and tidy in addition to ensuring the chairs were positioned on the beach at breakfast. One notable downside was the presence of numerous cats around the property, particularly in the evenings when they were fed by an external local lady. On one occasion, I encountered around a dozen cats gathered around food, which I found unappealing. Being situated directly on Frigate Bay Beach, the resort is close to external events and nightlife. The nearby Shiggity Shack bar hosts live bands and karaoke on some evenings, so some noise is to be expected—though this is part of the vibrant beach atmosphere. Timothy Beach Resort came highly recommended by friends who had previously enjoyed their stay. It may be better suited to budget-conscious or easy going travellers looking for a convenient location over luxury.

Amazing near all food places... Air con is free and amazing ... Beds around the pool are so comfy All staff were so lovely and helpful Will return soon . Always taxis outside or the hotel will arrange . They arrange our zip lining Good food in restaurant and the beach bar

Summer family holiday
This lovely little resort is nestled near the lush hillside of Timothy hill on Frigate bay, just steps from the beach. The rooms are quaint & authentic Caribbean style. The beds are comfy & the bathroom adequate. We upgraded to an ocean view room which had a lovely big balcony overlooking the beautiful Frigate bay beach , well worth the money. The location of the hotel is just perfect just steps away from the beach & the strip of Frigate bay with bars & restaurants. The staff at this hotel are friendly & helpful. The grounds of the hotel are kept pristine. It has a small swimming pool which we didn't use as we are beach people, but it was well maintained & clean. The cleaning staff did a great job of cleaning the rooms & replacing towels. The locals are super friendly & both islands of St Kitts & Nevis are absolutely beautiful. In my opinion don't hesitate to book this hotel go ahead & do it you will not be disappointed. We had one of the best holidays we've ever had. 100% we will be returning. Amazing value for money - great choice for a week in St Kitts
While the rooms are showing their age, they are spotlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel's beachfront setting is a definite highlight, with complimentary deck chairs available for guests to relax and take in the view. Service was very friendly and helpful it was nice to know I was supporting an independently run place. The hotel restaurant and bar are good, and a variety of other restaurants and bars are conveniently within a five minute walk. As others may have pointed out, occasional noise (loud bass) from certain venues might be noticeable - but this was not enough to disrupt my sleep and didn't happen every night. The air conditioning was newly installed, highly effective, and very quiet - keeping the rooms lovely and cool. WiFi worked fine and the hot water and pressure in the shower was also fine. For essentials, a decent supermarket is a short ten minute walk away and there is a small shop on site, but renting a car is highly recommended for greater flexibility in exploring the area - they can sort this for you too. I was able to book a boat cruise to Nevis that picked me up right from the pier by the hotel though which was very convenient as it saved me a taxi (I wanted to take advantage of the drinks, so I didn't want to drive!) There are also a lot of cats which the hotel feeds, but they also appreciate treats from guests too - though some are more shy than others. If you like cats, bring treats - they are expensive on the island.
