Construction Issues, Misleading Information, and More!
Construction Issues and Misleading Information Upon check-in, we encountered extremely loud construction that made the lobby and pool area uninhabitable. When we requested a room away from the construction, the front desk clerk stated, "There will be noise no matter where you are." Therefore, we went to our originally assigned room. When we entered, the construction noise was so severe that the walls were shaking, and we could not hear anything over the drilling and banging. We called the front desk to say that this was not acceptable and were told we could move to the opposite side of the hotel. The new room on the opposite side completely quiet. We were confused as to why we couldn’t avoid the inconvenience of changing rooms at initial check in - the information given to us by the front desk manager about “hearing noise not matter what” was both false and misleading. Prior to booking, we specifically inquired about renovations and were told they should be completed before our arrival. We were also guaranteed that any remaining work would only occur until 3 PM on weekdays, with no construction on weekends. These assurances proved entirely false, as construction continued at full volume throughout Saturday, disrupting what was supposed to be a peaceful weekend getaway. When we asked the front desk, we were told, “The construction workers decided they needed to come today. We know it’s loud. Sorry!” Serious Security Breach The most alarming incident occurred on the first day while we were unpacking - two construction workers entered our room unannounced using a master key card. This was frightening and a serious security breach. When we contacted the front desk, the staff seemed confused and unprepared, asking about the workers' clothing. We were initially told these might not even be authorized personnel. Later, we were informed that the workers thought they could access our room to work on the balcony—a completely unacceptable explanation. The following morning, the front desk called requesting permission for workers to spend "a few hours" working on our balcony during our vacation, showing a complete lack of understanding of guest experience and our right to peaceful enjoyment of our accommodation. Safety Hazards During our stay, a large piece of metal debris fell from scaffolding directly next to where we were walking in the outdoor corridor, creating a safety risk that could have resulted in injury. Facility and Service Issues Multiple basic amenities failed during our stay: The television in the bedroom did not work despite our service request - nobody showed up to fix it even though we were told someone, “would be right up.” The shower faucet in the main bathroom was broken The outdoor patio dining area was covered in garbage including used cocktail straws, shrimp shells, and sticky spills that remained uncleaned even after complaints and through the next day Our lunch service took 90 minutes to be served Parking access was unnecessarily complicated due to digital key issues Disrupted Dining Experience due to overwhelming noise. While attempting to have lunch on the patio overlooking the pool, construction workers repeatedly walked through the dining area carrying long wooden beams for approximately 30 minutes. The noise was so overwhelming that we couldn't hold a conversation, and one of us was nearly struck by workers carrying materials around a blind corner. Impact on Our Stay This was the worst hotel experience my family has ever had. The combination of safety issues, facility failures, misleading information, and disregard for guest comfort made our vacation stressful rather than relaxing. The construction made virtually all common areas unusable, forcing us to remain confined to our room when we weren't dealing with various problems.

Disappointing Stay – Not Up to Hilton Standards
Disappointing Stay – Not Up to Hilton Standards I stayed at Embassy Suites Deerfield from Feb 12–17, 2025, and had a very disappointing experience. There was loud, unannounced construction, including unsafe incidents like a rope nearly hitting me on the balcony and workers hammering just outside my window. The hotel was poorly managed overall — noise from other guests went unaddressed, one elevator was out of service with no helpful directions, and serious security concerns arose (e.g., a homeless person in the breakfast area, back doors left open). Housekeeping was inconsistent, breakfast was chaotic and understaffed, and my balcony was unusable for most of the stay despite specifically booking a balcony room. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties, but this fell far short. I hope the hotel addresses these issues and improves guest communication and safety.

Beware of The Renovations!
This was our 3rd stay at this property. I have a mixed review from this visit. When we checked in I was told that where we were staying we wouldn’t be impacted by the renovations that are underway. For the first day and a half, we had a great stay, peaceful, comfortable, completely enjoyable. Then the hammering started and it was terrible. I will give the staff credit, they apologized and comped us valet parking, and resort fees for our stay, and they sent up a bottle of champagne, as we were celebrating our 45th anniversary. The next day the renovations got worse but we endured, it went on to about 4pm. The day after that was the absolute worse, with drilling and hammering at 10am, at that time, we cut our trip a whole day early, checked out and came home. The staff was very nice and accommodating, the breakfast staff was great very day, the valet parking staff, were very good everyday. We love Deerfield Beach, and we love this property, but if you decide to come while renovations are ongoing and you like just hanging out in your room with your loved ones, expecting peace and quiet, you’re going to be sorely disappointed.

Awesome Customer Service
The front desk was what put the cherry ontop of the cake for my visit, especially that young woman named Betty. She answered every question that i had with ease and virtue. Ive never had such great customer service let alone hotel service. Thank you Betty for making my experience wonderful!

Ongoing Construction - Avoid 8am Jackhammering Forced Wake Up on Your Vacation!
This place has had ongoing construction for years now! We called ahead to inquire about it and they flat out lied and told us it won't interfere with our guest experience only to find out they're constantly hammering and doing heavy concrete construction work on the outside of the building which reverberates throughout the entire structure. It won't be a peaceful stay and there's no reason to book as there are other options where you will be taken care of. Management is very poor and the hotel is not well run. They have this bate and switch going on and because of the location right on the beach they always get reservations but it's not cool to be paying hundreds of dollars per night to be subjected to the construction when they can just be honest and tell you upfront what's going on. Obviously doing so probably means they start to lose money as people will avoid staying here. Manager even did a huge grand reopening celebration about a year ago so one would think all the construction and renovations are behind them but it's no where near done. Worst part is they don't care and won't give you your money back of course.
