Our stay at AOV was a 10/10 and we will recommend to everyone! I was pleasantly surprised that the resort is unmarked- which made it feel even more special and secluded. The location was convenient to the airport and walkable to another beachfront resturant. AOV is unmached for charm and character. Every detail is intentional, so if you have an eye for design, you will love it here. The room was extremely spacious, luxurious, well-appointed, hand-picked details/decor, and had an very comfortable bed. There were many times we felt like the only people on the property- in the best way. The staff was friendly, available, attentive and helpful. Breakfast every morning was delicious and felt like an extra luxury to have delivered to our villa. The whole property was very clean. Housekeeping refreshed the room every day, making it feel like new. The onsite resturant had a special holiday menu when we were there and everything was delicious. Our couples massage was excellent as well! I would choose AOV again and again.

Truly Incredible Experience
Aruba Ocean Villas is truly one of the most exceptional places while in Aruba. From the moment you arrive, the experience feels intimate, serene, and thoughtfully curated. The villas are beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with natural materials in a way that feels both indulgent and authentic to Aruba. Waking up to the sound of the ocean, enjoying dinner over the water, and watching the sunset from the deck were unforgettable highlights. The attention to detail throughout the property is remarkable—every element feels intentional, private, and calming. This is not a typical resort; it is a carefully crafted escape. The staff were outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special without ever being intrusive. Service felt personal and effortless. Dining was also a standout—creative, fresh, and perfectly suited to the setting.

Jan 02, 2026Beautiful Property, Service Did Not Match
This property was a letdown. My husband and I frequently stay at five-star resorts and noticed service lapses almost immediately. While the resort is beautiful, the level of service did not match the exterior or the price point. Communication was a recurring issue, including last-minute notifications about an onsite employee party where the noise level felt more like a club and continued until 11:30 p.m. We booked this resort expecting a peaceful stay. While we support employee celebrations, hosting them offsite or during the day would have minimized the impact on guests. We also experienced issues with breakfast service. We placed an order in advance, arrived at the restaurant the next morning to find no staff present, and later received a message stating the chef was sick. Breakfast was included with our stay, yet no alternative was offered. The spa experience was another disappointment. The massage huts were not fully enclosed, making undressing uncomfortable, and the massages were underwhelming. One massage was performed with latex gloves, which made it difficult to relax. The massages were ultimately comped due to a separate dinner mishap, where a birthday cake ordered in advance for my husband arrived incorrectly. At this price point, luxury should feel seamless. Instead, this stay felt disjointed and poorly executed. While the property looks the part, based on our experience, we would not recommend staying here.

My husband and I 3( years research and educate and absolutely had the most of times, wonderful and happy people. Top notch service, accommodations are the excellence in every way. Have not seen anything like the skills of this designer and just 100% elegant and sophisticated. Family and class! Get the Jon Jon ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The ocean villas is definitely an experience. On our honeymoon, we wanted some thing a little more secluded, and that is just what you get for the most part. This is considered to be more on the local side of the island which was perfect because we did do day trips on the more touristy side, and we could come back to our tranquil villa to relax. Why I say for the most part, is our biggest complaint would be that there are constant kayakers and snorkelers along with tour boats passing by your villa throughout the day . A drone even passed by . the privacy is very lacking. People are taking pictures. They’re waving they want to be up close and personal to these villas. They do provide an outdoor tub and shower, but that was just for show because you clearly can’t use these things. The Seaglass island is across from the villas and that is where most of these people are going. My favorite part of staying here was sitting outside for breakfast every morning, and watching sea turtles pop up for air throughout the day . Breakfast is included with this price, and is very beautiful, but taste wise. It wasn’t the best food. While you think you’re going to eat tropical paradise, it is a desert so local fruit is not grown on the island and everything is imported. They do provide a coffee shop for an extra cost that has pastries and breads which we took advantage of a couple times. Another convenient part of staying at the villas is they provide transportation for you anywhere on the island as long as you plan ahead. The staff is very nice and has good communication through the WhatsApp. The villas are right next to the flying fish bone which is a popular attraction where you can have dinner with your feet in the water. The villas really give you everything you need, we had a steamer and an iron, a fridge and an air fryer. They provide you with all the toiletries you would need. They give you a beach towel and shampoo and conditioner.. our shower was difficult to shower in , it’s literally the tub so I almost fell twice . The lighting is very dim in there which was kind of annoying when putting in my contacts or doing make up . They provide a bidet in the room as you are not allowed put anything in the toilet . Their water is like the second cleanest in the world so bring a reusable water bottle and drink the tap. The grounds itself are very beautiful, and they are still expanding . We ate at their restaurant which was pretty good . I’d have to say in general Aruba doesn’t really accommodate vegans . We originally had our honeymoon scheduled in the over water bungalows in Jamaica and I’m so glad we switched just for the ambiance here alone . It really is a hidden gem if you can afford it . We got a lot of relaxation in there . They also have an indoor bar and outdoor bar . There’s cats all around and I hope you don’t mind dogs barking . I don’t know where it’s coming from but it’s every day . To us we were pretty laid back about the nuances , and I don’t want to deter you from coming here because it really is beautiful and you get a lot included in the stay . If you are a looking for relaxation this is your place .
