    Exceptional Girls Getaway!!

My three friends and I had the absolute pleasure of taking a trip to St. Lucia in June 2025. We have lovingly referred to our girls' trip as “Grown-up Summer Camp.” This was my first all-inclusive experience, and it exceeded every expectation I had! Upon arriving at Stolen Time by Rendezvous, we were met by Sean Nellius (sp?). Sean handed us a cool rag with lavender to cool our faces. While someone took our bags to our room, Sean showed us around the resort with such charisma, and then showed us to our room! The resort was ideally situated right on the beach, just the right size, and not overly crowded. It featured two pools (one with a swim-up bar), a lazy river (no floats, haha), three restaurants, a gym, a champagne bar, a gym, 24-hour concierge services, and numerous on-site activities. Our rooms and the resort were well-maintained and clean. Housekeeping cleaned them once a day, and towels were replaced twice a day. From the time we arrived at Stolen Time by Rendezvous, the island's hospitality shown to us by the staff and locals outshone the southern hospitality that I was raised on. Faith served us our wine each night with such a fantastic smile and attitude, and he talked and laughed with us! Ms. Nice was assigned to the Spa pool and the lazy river area, and she was always smiling and laughing, always super friendly to us throughout our stay. I took advantage of the spa with Avril, and not only was she friendly, but she was also very good at her job! The massage, wrap, and facial relaxed me so much, and it's hard for me to relax! There were several places around the resort where you could find fresh beach towels and drop off the not-so-fresh ones. There were employees assigned to specific areas on the beach, the pools, and the lazy river who would walk around and check on you. They would pick up your empty glasses and bring you fresh drinks, ranging from water to juice, as well as that day's daily drink special. Breakfast is served daily on the terrace with a stunning beach view! It was a buffet-style spread, with so many options that it would take me forever to list them all, and someone was making fresh eggs, omelets, and pancakes there every morning! For lunch, you could have another buffet-style meal on the terrace, again with an extensive array of items, and just as delicious as breakfast, or you could eat at Malabar, where you could choose between several appetizers, main courses, and desserts!! For dinner, you could decide to make reservations at Thyme or Malabar, or you could go to the terrace! Each of these locations offered several options of appetizers, main courses, and desserts! I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them! I specifically enjoyed the chocolate fondant dessert from Thyme and the hamburger from Malabar. Additionally, I splurged on the ribeye steak while there, and it was the best I have ever had! Everything about St. Lucia is vibrant and alive! The food is delicious, the music is loud, the people are happy and laid back, and time is almost irrelevant. The soul is so fertile that nearly anything will grow and flourish, leaving behind the most delicious fruits and the most gorgeous plant life! The beach has the softest sand I have ever experienced under my bare feet, and the mountains are a sight to behold! I can’t wait to return to St. Lucia and revisit this resort! Thank you, Stolen Time, for the best vacation I've ever had!

    Stolen Times=Stolen Property

We were happy with the first night when we arrived late and they made arrangements and met us at the gate. It was very sweet. Then it started to be a bit hit and miss ending with over $5000 in jewelry stolen. We arrived and as I said the woman who greeted us was lovely. We got to our room which was good. We decided that since the bar was open for another hour we would have a nightcap. This is where the question about the property started. When we asked the bartender for a drink he didn’t want to make our request because he was packing things up. We understood and didn’t have a problem with that. The next day we asked to get in contact with the person who makes the featured experience. We were told that they would be on resort in a few hours so we waited. No one called us or reached out. After 3 hours we went back and asked someone else. They ended up calling the person in charge of featured experiences who wasn’t on property and told us they couldn’t accommodate our request. We were still very happy with our vacation. The next morning we woke up to find that sometime between dinner and returning to our room (3 hours total) my wife’s anniversary ring and a wedding band ring was missing. Both rings totaled over $5000 USD. We were out of the room for 3 hours total. When we called to report it they took a report and told us that we could file a report with the police, which we did. The police came out and took the 3rd statement-yes 3 statements only to be told on our last evening here we would need to give a 4th statement or go to the police station. I understand they aren’t responsible for lost or stolen items but where I have the problem is that they didn’t even offer apologies or try to make reparations. We paid an incredible amount to be here and now we have lost a large investment. I simply want someone to say sorry and to offer at least offer something.

    Back again.

We’ve just enjoyed another great week at StolenTime. This was our sixth (or maybe seventh) visit. We had a garden room, which was quite spacious, with a very large balcony. It overlooks the very well-cared for tropical gardens. It was low season and so the hotel had few occupants. We didn’t mind. The food was pretty good— especially in the Thyme Restaurant and Malabar Beach Bar. We got a very pleasant welcome back and were pleased to see quite a few familiar faces. The staff members were friendly and fun. One of the attractions (for us) is the location on the long Vigie Beach and hike up the the lighthouse. We also like to walk into Castries. It was a fairly quiet and peaceful week. Guests were, on average, older people. I expect we will visit yet again.

    Excellent stay !

After our wedding, we went to Stolentime for our honeymoon and were there for a week. The staff is incredible here, great service, funny, and no real wait for anything. One of the highlights is they will come out and sing happy birthday to you and all of their voices are wonderful. They all do a great job. We were celebrating a few different occasions with friends so we did a champayne breakfast one morning that was extremely cool. This is a very small resort, everything you need is within just a few minutes walk. We thoroughly enjoyed the swim up pool/bar and Ms. Nice(I think I got that name right) and her staff were all excellent. Everything we ordered was top notch. My wife enjoyed the water aerobics class, she did 3 classes and felt great afterwards. Concierge was extremely helpful, we changed some things around and cancelled a few events, and they were excellent with all of that. We enjoyed the DJ and dancers in the main area one night.....it didnt last too long, enough to enjoy it and then it went back to people just hanging out at the bar area. The resort is right next door to the 2nd smaller airport. Just a heads up for folks booking rooms - we went with a signature beachfront suite, the only disappointing thing for us personally was the seating area outside is extremely small. You have a larger living area, which is nice, but next time we book we will go with either a cottage or pool side room with larger outside seating space. All the guests we met were extremely nice and friendly, we had some lovely conversations with quite a few folks. The food in the restaurants is wonderful, I have no complaints about any of it. The lady making the omelettes in the buffet restaurant did a wonderful job every morning. The AC unit in the room was amazing, I really need the white noise to help me sleep and I love it cool, so it did both things....I packed a tsa small fan and didn't need it. All in all, it was an A+ stay, housekeeping was also great and service was on time and room was clean. We are already in discussions regarding our next trip here.

    Relaxation and Charm

My recent stay at Stolentime resort offered moments of relaxation, charm, and vibrant hospitality—interspersed with a few quirks that left room for improvement. Arrival & First Impressions: The check-in experience was a bit confusing at first. Without a traditional lobby or reception desk, we found ourselves unsure of where to go and who to speak to. This was some remedied by the staff member in that area. While the resort’s casual approach may appeal to some, I found myself frequently stopping random staff for help early in the week. Once I understood the flow, it became easier to navigate. They did do a quick orientation upon arrival. Room Comfort & Amenities: The room was peaceful and refreshingly tech-free with no television—a welcome change of pace. However, when we did want to stream something, the experience was mixed. Netflix and Prime Video worked, but spotty Wi-Fi made consistency a challenge, especially near the beach. With only two 110V outlets in the room, I’d recommend bringing a power strip or some 220V adapters if you plan to charge multiple devices. Dining Highlights & Misses: Dining was a mixed bag, with a few standouts and some areas for improvement. • Thyme: The five-texture chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was exceptional—absolutely lived up to the hype. That said, menu knowledge among staff was hit or miss, and lactose-intolerant guests may struggle, as staff didn’t always confirm dietary needs when serving. • Malabar: I had high hopes here, but dinner missed the mark. The conch soup lacked flavor, and the kingfish was oddly steak-colored and bland. At lunch, burgers could only be ordered well-done—more flexibility would be appreciated. • Terrace: Breakfast can get bottlenecked since eggs are made to order (no scrambled eggs on the hot bar), likely a resource-saving strategy. Still, the team makes it work, even if it takes time. Saturday dinner is not a buffet, in case you’re planning your meals around that. It would be nice if the Malabar/beachfront grill served lighter options like nachos or burgers on the beach, especially for those wanting to dine under the sun. Additionally, more local Caribbean dishes would enrich the experience and celebrate the island’s culture. Drinks & Atmosphere: Kudos to Orlando at the bar—his cocktails were consistently excellent. However, the vibe at the outside bar was puzzling early in the week. Instead of local Caribbean music, we were greeted by pop music. A little soca and calypso sounds would greatly improve the ambiance. Excursions with Solar Tours: We tried the land and sea excursion with Solar Tours, which was well-intentioned but chaotic. The mud baths were overcrowded (and messy due to the heavy rain), and the scenic overlooks were disappointingly bypassed. While the snorkeling time was increased—nice in theory—it felt like a consolation. Lunch was more of a quick grab-and-go than a culinary experience. The crew was friendly, and none of the issues were their fault, but overall, it didn’t feel worth the cost. Evening Entertainment: The nightly singers were talented and enjoyable, though the setlists grew repetitive over the week. “International Night” didn’t live up to its name, with a lack of international music. A little more variety would make a big difference. Final Thoughts: Despite some growing pains and areas for refinement, the resort has a laid-back charm that can be rewarding for guests willing to go with the flow. With some attention to organization, food variety, and cultural authenticity, it could truly shine. Bring a relaxed attitude, an extra charger, and a love for the sun—and you’ll likely leave with more smiles than gripes.
