We had an excellent stay at Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya over New Year's and in January 2025. The quality of the food and the choice was great. We especially enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Market Café. It was the best buffet we ever had in a hotel. Also, the staff was always friendly and helpful. Our concierge Lydia helped us whenever we had a request and at Market Café we remember Edmundo as a very friendly person. The lush gardens of the resort are just beautiful and the variety of offerings is overwhelming. Thank you, Secrets Akumal.

Relaxing experience!
We had a relaxing and rejuvenating couples massage along with hydrotherapy,sauna and steam bath. Did a cold/hot plunge and sat in the jacuzzi. Our masseuse’s were Nely & Vienney and they also gave us a nutrient rich facial. The entire 2hrs was the best part of our day! 10 out of 10 thanks to our gals! If you can, spend the extra $$ and do this when you stay, it’s an amazing experience.

Anniversary to remember
Amazing vacation! Every need exceeded. It was our anniversary and we felt extremely pampered. The staff does such an amazing job anticipating your needs and making you feel welcome. Food and drinks were excellent. The spa is so relaxing. The grounds are very pretty and they work hard keeping it clean. I strongly recommend staying at this resort.

Excellence at Secrets Akumal
The resort is beautiful with jungle type outdoor environment. Great pools, as well as activities. We enjoyed the gym, spa as well as daily activities and night time entertainment. We travel a lot a I will say that the service, food, drinks is superb. The French restaurant has surf & turf with fillet and lobster as well as a superb cheese plate made fresh at your table. Daily poolside food, amazing buffet along with many other restaurant choices. Long pants are required for the Greek, Italian and French restaurants. Thank you to all the staff that made our visit one of the best ever including concierge Billie, activity directors Max, Liz and Xchel. Esteban and Abraham who were amazing pool servers as well as Jose our pool concierge. We appreciate the amazing week that we spent with you and appreciate you hard work more than you know! Excellent 🥇
