A piece of paradise!
From the secluded hotel beach to the large and comfortable room with a balcony offering a wonderful view over the bay plus a selection of restaurants be it buffet or set menu, I honestly liked everything there. After a night of heavy rain, water had seeped into the room fIooding some of the floor space. I reported it and asked for another room. We were immediately allocated another room in the same building although not on the same floor - our initial room was on the top floor of Mediteraneo in the Pueblo Mar which had such a wonderful open view onto the bay. Every staff member we came in contact with was so helpful and patient. Among the staff, I particularly remember Cynthya in the Bellavista Restaurant, and Ivan at Reception who were both outstanding by the service they provided, and the patience and attentiveness they displayed. Overall, nive Honestly I cannot think of a single thing I did not like.

June 2025 week long visit starting with Hurricane Erik.
Staff stood out as friendly and hard working. A rare hurricane hit close by the night we arrived. An army of workers was busy cleaning up the beach shortly afterward. And dedicated staff worked the restaurants the same night hurricane brought drenching rain (Hurricane Erik). Gabriel and Ion were great but there were many more whose names we did not note. Great staff.

Worst Service in Mexico
Stayed here with our 3 teenage daughters. Rooms were out dated, broken fixtures, peeling paint and worn furniture. The food was not great and lacked flavor. We normally love coming to Mexico for our family vacation because of the amazing service. I can’t say that about our stay here. The service was the worst we have ever had. From the staff at the front desk to the concierge and the hotel app that is not working. Please don’t waste your time and money. There are much better places to go and stay in Mexico. We will never be back here again.

Bad Customer Service
I have a reservation for 6/29 - 7/5. I spent two hours on hold trying to cancel my reservation after Hurricane Erick and was told they were not authorized to cancel reservations. I asked to speak with the Reservation Manager or the General Manager and was placed more than a half dozen holds. Staff were unwilling to provide with the the Managers Names nor emails. After multiple hours of continued calls a staff member finally provide me with the names of managers, emailed me the manager's names and emails for me to contact them. Despite the Reservations Manager not being available, she replied to the email within minutes with full context of the morning to offer an option to change our reservation dates. The customer service was horrible! Very un professional and frustrating especially after a Hurricane just hit the region. While their hotels are great, (I have stayed at Brisas Ixtapa) their customer service leave a lot to be desired with situations that most hotels handle effortlessly to make our stays better. Brisas has not done that at all. After hours of agitation, eventually they replied to my emails and agreeing to cancel and fully refund us.

Do not stay here
While I wish I could say we enjoyed our stay at Las Brisas, the experience fell short of expectations. The two positives worth mentioning are the stunning view and the exceptional staff—everyone was wonderful except for the maintenance technician. Unfortunately, there were several significant issues that significantly impacted our stay and made less than enjoyable, and for that reason, we cannot recommend this property and will not be returning. The rooms and resort are extremely outdated. In our first room, the air conditioning barely worked, and most of the bedroom furniture was broken or in poor condition. The restrooms were dark and uninviting. I felt uncomfortable enough that I left the light on overnight in case we needed to use it during the night. The food was underwhelming. Whether at the buffet or the sit-down reservation restaurants, the quality was consistently poor—though we did come across a decent dish or two here and there. Poolside service was lacking. There was no menu available to order food, and the drinks were mediocre at best.
