Love this place. Ocean at this place will not disappoint.
Had a oceanfront Aqua club suite Isaias and Eladio were our butler's. They made all of our reservations for dinner for the evening and reservations for our day bed with messages each day didn't have to worry about a thing. They were AWESOME! Also we had Alejandra as our server by the pool and ocean. She's a sweetheart always asking if needed anything eat or drink. She is the BEST!

Relaxing beautiful vacation
This was a family trip with 10 people. Really clean gorgeous property. The beach was perfect and we spent a lot of time in the water. All of the pools were clean and a great temperature. It never felt crowded. Shout out to our butlers Isaias and Eladio, Daniel and Guillermo in the aqua club, Ricky Ricardo for the water aerobics! Roosevelt by the pool! Rooms were very clean but dark. The club level and lounge were worth the upgrade. The beds by the pool overlooking the beach were also worth it. Our only complaint was food quality. We didn’t have a meal that we enjoyed. I know it’s difficult at an all inclusive, but we were hoping for better food. The drinks were very good. Very relaxing vibe and older crowd. We will be back.

Poor service at MB Restaurant.
We had a lovely room and the quality of the food was excellent. On the down side, however, there are no shows in this hotel and the bar on the lower level had some major trip hazards and we saw a tourist fall badly. Also, we had a bad experience while waiting for a table at the MB Restaurant. We checked in and it took 2 1/2 hours to be seated. The hostess, a woman named Frida, was very cold with us and had a bad attitude.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Second Home Since 2019 – Live Aqua Never Disappoints
We have been traveling to Live Aqua Cancun as a couple since early 2019, and the reason we continue to return is simple: consistency. From the exceptional service and outstanding food quality to the genuine kindness of the staff, Live Aqua never disappoints. There is something incredibly comforting about boarding the plane knowing exactly what to expect—and being reminded every single time why this resort feels like a second home. We are never disappointed. This most recent trip (11/29–12/06) was especially meaningful, as it was our first time attending the Aqua Lover Festival—a three-day celebration for guests who have visited Live Aqua more than twice. We were completely spoiled with unforgettable experiences, including beach dinners, a beautiful catamaran cruise, and an amazing cocktail hour. Alfredo and his team truly know how to take care of their guests and make them feel welcomed, loved, and genuinely cherished. If you are looking for an adults-only, all-inclusive resort, Live Aqua should absolutely be at the top of your list. This is not a party resort—it is a place that focuses on wellness, relaxation, and elevated experiences. Our butlers Rodrigo and Sakny were absolutely amazing, and it was just as special to reconnect with butlers we have come to cherish so much over the years—Eladio, Stephanie, Ernesto, and Alan—always smiling and always willing to help. We also had a wonderful reunion with Chef Ernest, whom we first met and took a photo with at Hidden Garden back in 2021. We tried to recreate that moment this trip (though the table was occupied), but it was still such a great reunion. A big thank you to Esmeralda, the hostess, who was consistently sweet and kind every time we saw her, as well as Frida, the hostess at MB. Speaking of MB—if you do not run to try Chef Wilian’s habanero soup, you are truly missing out. From the warm front-door greeting by Frida to the exceptional attention from Rodolfo, the manager of MB, you are guaranteed a true fine-dining experience. Special recognition also goes to Mr. Alfredo, Morelia (our Aqua Lovers queen), Virgilio (manager of the butlers), Aldo, and “Ricky Ricardo” (not his real name, but an incredible entertainer who always brings the energy). On the beach, we were completely spoiled by Cesar, Luisa, Monica, Alejandra, John, and David during the catamaran experience, and by Cristobal at the pool. The towel hut crew made sure our cabana was always perfectly set up and that we had everything we could possibly need—thank you to Flavio, Edouard, Hector, Lalo, Demian, Rodrigo, Alejandro, Miguel, Epifanio, Javier, Jesus, and last but certainly not least, Maria “Chulis.” Breakfast is always a highlight—start your day with a smoothie from the incredible Marco, followed by a lovingly prepared omelet from Nelci. You can also head over to Azur for breathtaking beach views and outstanding service from Mauricio, David, Jose, and Oscar, which makes every morning feel extra special. For lunch, make sure to stop by Porfi’s hamburger stand or see Jose for delicious grilled chicken and ribs. In the evenings, Maria and David at Azur provide wonderful service paired with stunning beach views. Thank you as well to Victor at Siete for a great dinner experience. A special thank you to Ana, our morning housekeeper—so kind, fast, and meticulous. We were also happy to run into Belmar, now working in room service, who made a point to stop and say hello, which meant so much to us. Live Aqua continues to exceed our expectations year after year. Desde el excelente servicio y la extraordinaria calidad de los alimentos hasta la amabilidad genuina de todo el personal, Live Aqua nunca decepciona. Es una sensación muy especial subir al avión sabiendo exactamente qué esperar y confirmar, una vez más, por qué este resort se siente como nuestro segundo hogar. Este último viaje (29/11–06/12) fue aún más especial, ya que fue nuestra primera vez participando en el Aqua Lover Festival, un evento de tres días para huéspedes que han visitado Live Aqua más de dos veces. También pueden visitar Azur para disfrutar de vistas espectaculares al mar y un excelente servicio de Mauricio, David, Jose y Oscar. Great for service, Lacking style.
The Good: Almost entirely excellent service and consistently friendly staff (except at the beach bar). Restaurant Variety good. Showers and Molton Brown body wash at the beach an excellent touch. Good number of beach loungers available. Room very clean and well kept. Beautifully well maintained beach and perfect sea. Nice touches in the room - personalised washcloths and decorations. Use of hospitality room after checkout a huge plus. Very attentive, polite and helpful Butlers (Isaias and Eladio). Excellent quality and reasonably priced massages in the spa. The sea corner food and service was particularly exceptional. Hotel was clean and tidied consistently. The Bad: Not a single good dessert the entire trip. The new years eve set menu and service was disappointing and mostly inedible. Despite being labelled as LGBT+ friendly we overheard multiple guests make homophobic remarks to each other about us. Constant pressure to tip at every single interaction. Wine options extremely poor and cocktail quality poor (until we learnt to specify our preferred spirit, then much better). Old fashioned restaurant dresscode is not appropriate in todays world. We always dressed formally for dinner but were met with issues at times due to not fitting typical ‘male’ wardrobe choices of long sleeves. Other guests were permitted in plain shorts and t-shirts but our formal outfits were declined due to not fitting gender stereotypes. General standard of singers and performances/entertainment very poor. The club level bar is not worth visiting (but the club upgrade is worth it for the butler service and the extra care such as private check-in and hospitality room). Overall decoration is tacky and garish and although always clean, is a little tired in places. We would consider returning for the service and the beach but if you prioritise style and food and drink quality, look elsewhere.
