School Break
We love going there..every year we go.. Love the service...special mention to Gabino from the entertainment team Edward the bartender and Kathleen breakfast host.

Definitely not a party resort
I'll start by saying if you want to get away and rest this is the play to go. If you are looking to have some fun and turn up a little bit, choose another place. The food was very mediocre in the buffet areas. There was no omelette or carving stations for breakfast. The entertainment was very minimal, Saturday night 11pm the lobby is completely empty and dark, bar was closed totally insane. I was not able to order room service from my room. Others in my party had trouble getting washclothes. Now I will say the staff is nice especially in the preferred club. I was very disappointed overall.

Okay experience
This resort is smaller, clean (though I can see why some would say dated), and the staff is very attentive. The groundskeeper will show you sloths in the forest near the preferred pool and will even climb to take pictures of them for you. While beachside, you can't really lounge on the beach due to the tide. This wasn't really a big deal for us, but it's good to know. Also, I wouldn't swim in the ocean here since there are frequently crocodiles in the water. The reason I didn't give more stars for this review was due to the food. The options were minimal, especially for a vegetarian in the group. We were served undercooked fish twice, eggs with shell in them, and even the cereal at the breakfast buffet was stale. I didn't have the highest expectations with the food, but I'd say it was unacceptable. Preferred is not worth it unless you have a certificate to use. Additionally, there is minimal entertainment. Not a big deal for me, but I wanted to mention it for prospective guests. I'd say this is an okay stay if you're expectations are in check, you have excursions planned, and you don't plan to eat too many of your meals here.

Resort lifestyle
This was our first trip to Panama, Dreams all inclusive was our Resort of choice. Our stay was great, comfortable, but not top tier, the Breafast was my least favorite, not too many options. The Restaurant Ocean was my favorite they had the best seafood soup. The Satff was also very helpful and accommodating.

Gross and disappointing
This hotel is very run down. The amenities are old. Room smelled like mold. Floors in hotel were slippery wet due to condensation...my son fell and hit his head. Sheets and towels were very worn. The hotel was prob nice 40 years ago, but today it's just sad. The food and drink were mediocre. Very uncharacteristic of Hyatt property...Hyatt should neither renovate or take their name off this property.
