Aug 17, 2026Absolutely terrible experience
Over $1200 per night for a room with a separate bedroom and small kitchen. OUCH. Facility is old. No elevators for a four story building. The floor was dirty our entire five night stay. Power repeatedly lost. One instance the power was out from midnight to 8 AM. When the power was out, the phones did not work (SAFETY ISSUE) nor did wifi. AC did not work in the bedroom. Rodents attacked our food on two nights. Prices in the dining room were astronomical. The worst room experience we (experienced travelers) have ever had. Only stayed there as we were meeting up with a boating group.

Best Resort and Marina in the Abacos
Great resort and marina!! Definitely one of the best locations in the Bahamas for having world class fishing just outside the reef cuts. Super friendly staff, great food and even better atmosphere. Marina shore power is very reliable and rarely have any issues. I would recommend staying at the resort and marina to anyone.

A Perfect Family Celebration at Abaco Beach Resort
We recently visited the Abacos with our whole family to celebrate my 40th birthday, and our stay was simply amazing. The resort itself is beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and special. The only inconvenience was that the weather was not cooperating on our first day. It was one of the most memorable experiences for our kids, who are 9 and 7, and they absolutely loved all the activities and the attention they received. The entire staff was so gracious and attentive, making sure every moment of our celebration was perfect. We will absolutely be back at the Abaco Beach Resort next time we’re in the Bahamas.

Bahama Delight!
Fantastic resort! Great facilities, friendly staff, lots to do. Two Pools, multiple pickleball courts, a private beach, multiple dining and bar choices. Andre is the General Manager, Preston is the bartender, Garry is security. We had a ball!
