Dec 09, 2024Wonderful 1st Club Staff, Serving Staff, Cooks, Housekeepers !!!
This is our second trip to the Allegro Playacar for two weeks. We went with a group of 13 to celebrate an 80th birthday party. It was like coming to our second home! We are Occidental Vacation Club 1st club members and the first club Staff and Bartenders were absolutely awesome! They are family to us with hugs and great service! Thank you Mayra, Natalie & Paulete and Andres, Angel & Eder! The Hostesses at the Buffets were wonderful with a smile & a hug every time they seen me! Great job Sherly, Elmy, Janis, & Diana! The food was plentiful and we never went hungry! The Servers at the Buffets provided excellent service, had a great sense of humour — excellent job Alejandro, Fernando, Umberto, Bernardo & David! Special Shoutout to Miguel Caamal & Crew for going above and beyond the call of duty to make Audrey‘s 80th birthday supper and party a complete success! We really appreciated everything you all did for her birthday! Thank you to all the hardworking Housekeeping Staff! Our room was always well cleaned, well stocked and had beautiful animal creations, or flowers placed on our bed! My apologies for missing names,, just too many fantastic people to mention everyone! Great Service Team
The resort grounds and beach were beautiful. Short, safe and beautiful walk to 5th Ave for shopping from resort. We enjoyed the morning stretching/ yoga and aqua aerobics with Rene's team (Carla, Johnny, Aurea ) The housekeeping and waiting staff ( Gabriel, Richardo, Alejandra) are terrific here. Myra and the entire FC team (Andres, Angel, Eder) were very welcoming. Thanks for a wonderful 2 weeks.

The beach was very nice, drinks were awesome, and the staff were amazing; what more could you ask for! Free drinks brought to you continously and lots of activities to do. The food was pleasant and abundant. The resort was very clean and well kept and cared for. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great relaxing trip to Mexico.

Home away from home
This is my third time to Allegro. I will be back next year. The staff welcomes us and makes us feel at home. It’s safe and fun. We like the dinner reservation options you can use if you want. The nightly shows are enjoyable and Rene and Oscar make it so fun. Thank you Allegro. See you next year.

This is a great resort except for 2 things. NO HOT WATER, despite asking 3 times before someone came to fix it, said it was now working but it’s still cold. I give up. The swimming pools also are so cold it’s impossible to use them, so the pretty pictures are just for show apparently. Otherwise, it’s clean, comfortable, the staff are great, the food is great, the entertainment is very good too, except it is so close to my room that the valance over the window rattles when the show is on. Thank goodness it’s over by 10:30. Would I stay here again? They must have an infrastructure water issue, which is too bad, otherwise I would give a 4star review
