    Welcome to Paradise.

This resort is not like the others! The Troubetzkoy family has done an amazing job of intertwining quiet luxury into nature. It stays true to a minimalistic Caribbean feel with lots of open air space. We stayed for 5 nights in July 2025 in a Premium Hillside Suite with an ocean view. It was extremely spacious and comfortable. Filtered, bottled water is replenished twice/day in the room’s mini fridge along with coffee, tea, and banana bread upon arrival with a rum cocktail. Swivel fans were provided along with ceiling fans as there is not air conditioning in most of the rooms; this was never an issue. Pro tip: the gym on the Jade Mountain side (which Anse Chastanet guests are able to use) is air conditioned with a great view of the Pitons. The ride from the airport to the resort is about 1 hour, and we opted for the resort to make an arrangement with one of their private sedans for around $100usd. The food is absolutely incredible, with one of the dinner menus changing daily. Most of the produce served is coming from their Organic Emerald Estate farm, where they also brew beer and make chocolate. The spa is kind of no-frills, but the services are absolutely world-class and transcendent. We snorkeled everyday and saw a couple sea turtles. The 5 minute walk to Anse Mamin beach is absolutely worth it; this is the superior beach of the two, in my opinion. We took an afternoon tour with Meno (“Father Nature”) of the old sugar cane plantation on property, and it really helped to put the history of the Caribbean into perspective while also learning about native plants, fruits, and flowers. We did an afternoon sail on the Suzy Q with Brad and Tory—these guys were absolutely fantastic; we felt that we could talk to them just like they were old friends. This was a great opportunity to get up close and personal to the Pitons and even snorkel at the base before being greeted back on the boat with cocktails and snacks. If we were to do it again: I think I may just get a standard room. The extra value wasn’t there for us personally, as we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room (if you will spend a lot of time if your room, then the upgrade is absolutely worth it). I would’ve liked to venture into the town of Soufriere itself, and I would like to take on the challenge of climbing Gros Piton. I would also spend more time at Anse Mamin beach rather than Anse Chastanet—both beaches are breath taking, but Anse Mamin is a little smaller, quieter, has a smaller snack menu, and a really really really good burger (which is cooked in a sugar cane boiler from the old plantation). I really hope we get back to this beautiful place. St Lucia is very special and I’m looking forward to watching the country develop even further.

    Amazing

Hands down, the best vacation we have taken. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and part of the family. Every employee, morsel of food and amenity surpassed our expectations. We will definitely return!

    Great family trip

A wonderful oasis of great location, beautiful beach and beach-side coral with exceptional food and service. Some of us scuba dived which was really good and the snorkeling off the beach for the rest of the group was great! Food and drink were uniformly quite good. We loved the open room design, we stayed in the double accommodation (2c) which had a large open deck/sitting area with a view of the ocean and the top of the pitons. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the overall manager to the beach attendants.

    Superb location and wonderful staff

Superb location, wonderfully helpful staff throughout all areas. Excellent food and drink. Two lovely sandy beaches, one of which has trails through the forest behind it. Great for birdwatching. Refreshing to have no artificial pools as sea was so great for swimming. Good for snorkeling too and the Scuba Centre on site was very professionally run. Some might find the steps to beach a challenge but there is a shuttle service. We loved the style of the rooms with their vibrant decorations and ceiling fans (others may yearn for air con but we didn't miss it) and our amazing view as we had no other rooms in sight. Some of the trips and additional services seemed rather expensive but those we did were excellent: birdwatching day out which inc Des Cartier Trail, Wetlands and Light House with Willow who was extremely knowledgeable, and the Sunset Cruise which was led by very knowledgeable Captain and crewman. Really enjoyed the complimentary art lessons - Saki was so skillful and inspirational. Thanks to all staff who helped make our holiday such a great one.
