Exceptional Service & Scenic Beauty and Pitons
We celebrated our 55th anniversary with a trip to Anse Chastanet - it was a great choice. The resort is absolutely stunning, nestled in lush surroundings with views of the Pitons. Given my wife’s mobility challenges, I was a bit apprehensive about the hilly terrain and numerous steps, but the shuttle service made everything easily accessible. Choosing a beach-level room was a great decision—the room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor, covered seating area. Food was good - comparable with other high end Caribbean resorts. It featured local ingredients with an Indian influence. Our only disappointment was there was unusually rough water and swimming and snorkeling was not recommended. What made this trip exceptional was the people. Everyone from our taxi drivers, hotel managers and the entire staff were friendly and helpful. Their kindness and hospitality turned a wonderful trip into a memorable experience.

Wonderfully unique resort!
Anse chastanet really is a wonderfully unique resort to celebrate our anniversary! We loved our room with beautiful views of the Pitons and the natural setting with birds visiting daily. The beaches were both beautiful; Anse Chastanet beach has more people, but you get special perks like 'love and happiness' spritzes, popsicles, fruit kabobs. Mamin is quieter, with a deserted island vibe. The off-shore snorkeling was fabulous! We snorkeled every day for a few hours between the two beaches and saw sooo many different species of fish (the flying gurnards were very entertaining), turtles and eels, Food and drinks were delicious at all the restaurants and the beach bar. The fresh catch of the day, ceviche, curry and guava sorbet are some favorites. The salads are not to be missed as all the ingredients are grown on-site and are so fresh and flavorful. Ginger margaritas - the best! We never left the resort for excursions, but loved the bird walk with Father Nature, Art class - Sakey style, and the intro to chocolate tasting. We were on the fence about doing the resort orientation, but were very glad we did...Peter provided good info and resort history, with some humor sprinkled in. The evening entertainment was a great way to end the day... the hostess and bartender were upbeat and engaging. All the resort staff we very friendly and helpful. Dont miss out on meeting Sunshine Biscuit, a St. Lucian wood carving artist that has been selling his art for decades on the beach. We got to chatting with him our first day, and then several more days, and asked him to make a snorkeling theme wood carving for us. We love it and the coconut bowl we also bought. We were upgraded to Jade Mountain for the last two nights, which was a wonderful surprise! We really enjoyed the open air room, the spectacular views up-top and the food was amazing! We cannot wait to go back! There are so many other places I want to visit in the world, but know we will be back to Anse Chastanet in the very near future!

Anse Chastanet: Paradise on Earth
This was our second trip to Anse Chastanet and we hope there will be a third. The beaches there are gorgeous— there are two of them, each framed by picturesque rock formations. We found plenty of beach activities, took in several boat rides of the shoreline, and just read under the ample palapas. The food was remarkably delicious and the service staff was friendly and spot on. Yet we never had the feeling of being at a sprawling resort, this resort remains right-sized. Our “cabin” was comfortable and naturalistic with a large open veranda and gorgeous views. We enjoyed the birds that came to visit and woke us up in the am with their delightful songs. We even liked climbing the roughly 250 steps from the beach to our cabin— plenty of views to take in along the way. Overall, we highly recommend.

The AMAZING Anse Chastanet!
This place is a must visit! The flora and fauna are incredible. The food is presented and prepared with such care and easily comparable to the finest restaurants you could visit. The staff are genuinely friendly and concerned with your overall experience and truly eager for you to return. You will connect with the staff and discover for yourself, they are simply the finest and friendliest you will ever encounter. The scuba diving and the dive team are amazing. The views of the Pitons and the ocean will amaze you. The rooms are incredibly comfortable. And this resort is very concerned with the well-being of the St. Lucia community. Anse Chastanet is truly an amazing and memorable place. We had our first visit and have now scheduled our second.

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend! Great food. Diving and snorkelling superb and lovely staff who are so welcoming.
We loved our stay! 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. Everything was sooooo good! Yummy meals, loved the bbq evening especially . We went all inclusive and cocktails and wine so good; kids loved the milkshakes and smoothies. So many staff deserve a shout out… all the waiters and waitresses were lovely… and the chefs were very talented. Loved Christina in the restaurant especially, a smily wonderful lady. Diving - the dive school - very professional and helpful. Able to make things happen for us…. Hadn’t pre -booked but Natasha kindly arranged the kids to do their Open Water PADI course. My husband and I also enjoyed our shore and boat dive. Quick and safe boat journeys to dive sites as the location of the hotel is so good. Being guests of the hotel, we were allowed free use of snorkel kit daily …. And the snorkelling was so good! We saw turtles most times we snorkelled off the beach; rays and soooo many fish. Good diving too. Other activities… yoga… several sessions, with Laura and Nelson. Very welcoming to non yoga attendees. The beach…. The staff were so lovely and Junior and Sidney and Ricardo spread the happiness with their regular ‘cool down towels and sprays’ - we were also so well attended by the staff who took orders from the sun beds and delivered drinks promptly and with a smile. Lovely clear water and comfy si beds. The fish class - very very informative - great work also being done by the two lovely marine biologists. We also did the plantation walk with Meno - it was gentle - so not as we expected but nonetheless a good learning experience . Only comment would be to suggest ensuring Meno knows if you have something else or somewhere else to be as he does like to talk! Extra unexpected stuff extras. Chocolate delivered to our room - complimentary! Mini picnic given to us as we departed - Delicious muffins on the transfer to the airport. Views from our room and sunsets from the movies . Rum tasting evening with Mervyn was an absolute hoot! Loved it! Peter the hotel manager was attentive - as were the other duty managers and Lauren on reception so helpful too. We also met the new Resort manager Christian who took the time to chat to us about the estate and show us a couple of behind the scenes ‘extras’ - good luck with the role! A friendly atmosphere throughout the staff and other guests made for a very happy wonderful holiday! It really did exceed our expectations! Thank you to all that made it happen!
