Sep 03, 2025Perfect Beachfront Getaway
The location is unbeatable — right on the beach, with the soothing sound of the ocean right from your room. The grounds are beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. While it’s not designed for cooking, there’s a microwave, mini fridge, and some basic tableware available, though a few pieces seemed like they hadn’t been used or cleaned recently. The staff was fantastic, and I’d happily stay here again!

Aug 28, 2025Rude staff, AC in rooms does not work, check-in not on time for multiple guests on the day I arrived.
Very unfriendly staff, would not recommend. Do not expect to check in to your room on time. The rooms are hot, AC doesn't work at all. If you select a room with a specific bed do not expect to get what your requested. Really just don't expect anything from this hotel.

Small, Cute, Central and FUN!
Absolutely loved our stay at the Islander, in fact we have stayed there four times now and will be going again in 2026. We rent our unit from VRBO, not through Aston and there is significant savings by doing that. Love the location and being able to walk to so many shops, restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Sits directly on the beach with an amazing view.

Everything was great...only issue is the very limited parking which was explained to me that they share the parking lot with the neighboring businesses especially the bar which is open late and took most of the parking. Other than that great rooms at affordable rates with everything you can ask for!!!

Only used the room to shower. Pretty worn down place, couldn’t see out sliding door due to condensation, rooms smelled very wet. Good location.
