    Babymoon vibes

Our stay at Aulani Resort in Oahu was amazing! It was our first time at a Disney hotel, and the atmosphere truly captured that magical Disney feeling. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very relaxing. The food was delicious, and for being both Disney and Hawaii, the prices felt very reasonable. The service was excellent, and every cast member was kind and helpful. While we went as a couple and found it perfect for a relaxing babymoon, we also noticed there are plenty of activities for kids, making it a great option for families too.

    Amazing for families, highly recommend!

Amazing stay in a beautiful hotel. It has everything that kids would love. This is now my sons favourite hotel. The pools were amazing, the beach is beautiful, the service was great from all the cast members. We loved oleo room for food. Cocktails were great, and beautifully presented. Sushi and music was grea too Most of the quick service outlets had quite unhealthy food options like burgers and pizza, so I would love to see healthier options added to which are not just boring salads. This was my only negative. The rooms are very comfortable and have lovely large balconies. This stay isn’t an authentic Hawaiian experience by any means, but we went to the north shore prior so just enjoyed this hotel for what it is…a lovely resort hotel. We really hope to visit again soon!

Aulani, definitely not the Happiest Hotel on Earth

Booked this trip for me and my 5 year old daughter as a late birthday gift / end of summer trip. For $1,300 a night for a basic room with an Ocean View I expected a lot. But oh boy, this hotel was incredibly disappointing. To begin with, no where on the website does it say there is no room service. This makes it incredibly difficult when you are a single parent traveling with a toddler. 1 night, my daughter was too tired to go out to eat, so we had no choice but to order from Post Mates. Unfortunately, my daughter fell asleep before the food arrived, and the hotel wouldn’t allow the driver up, and since I can’t leave my daughter by herself, I lost my dinner and money. The hotel is grossly oversold and crowded. It is virtually impossible to get a chair by the pool, and if you get so lucky to get one, you will risk the chance of getting an infection from the disgusting pool water. I just came back from the dermatologist bc I had a rash and they said it was due to the pool. Even more disgusting, I asked for housekeeping to clean my room. They told me they were not allowed to clean until the following day, but did hand me a stack of towels, one which had either tried blood or lipstick stains. I had plenty of more bad experiences at the hotel, but one of the worst was at the restaurant on the 1st Floor, Olelu. I ordered a top shelf tequila, and watched the bartender for 10 minutes. The bottle I ordered never moved from it place on the shelf, and instead the bartender poured me something from the “well.” I alerted Tasha (wonderful waitress) right away, and she was kind enough to remove the drink from the bill. I am in the hospitality business, and to be taken advantage of from a fellow industry type is simply horrible. All that being said, there was some amazing staff. Shout out to Jason at Auntie’s Beach House, Auntie Janet from the Luau, and Shurvel (I think I spelled her name wrong) from the Front Desk for trying to make up for all the wrongs of the hotel. Bottom line, I will never come back.

    Great family trip

We had a great time. My boys loved the lazy river and water slides. We got our groceries delivered so we only ate at the restaurant's once or twice. We loved the refillable mugs and used them all the time. Grounds are beautiful. Zero complaints loved it.

    Best family vacation

Our family trip to Aulani “A Disney Resort” was the most magical experience and best family trip by far that we have ever taken. The mix of great views, astonishing pools, awesome restaurants, and food added up to be a perfect family experience. This resort should get five stars from every customer of the resort. Inside the resort there are a bunch of different experiences with a wide family range. They have nighttime activities such as Art of Animation and Ukelele lessons, which make you feel like a professional. They have great hours for their beach rentals such as boogie boards and sand toys. They are both free to rent out, and the Hawaiian sand’s soft smooth texture makes it perfect for a nice sandcastle for the kids. Here in Aulani there is one of the most awesome lazy rivers you’ll ever see. They also have waterslides that pump max adrenaline. There are multiple shops, restaurants, and an ice cream shop all just across the street and a few steps away from the resort. The Aulani gift shop immerses you into Hawaiian culture mixed with all of Disney’s fun, playful characters. The now famous munchlings in the gift shop go fast though, so if you see something you like one day, get it fast, because it might not be there next. The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) runs a fantastic program inside the resort to help get you to become a member at a large discount. You can even get a free shoulder puppet out of the deal! The resort also has a parking garage that you can park your rental or primary cars in for all your out-of-resort adventures. All in All, the whole Hawaiian resort of Aulani was ravishing in all aspects. I recommend staying in this magical place, because you’ll want to come again.
