  Amazing Holiday

  Just returned from a week at this fantastic hotel with a friend. Rooms were amazing with plenty of space and when we had a problem with the wardrobe door not opening and shutting reception was able to send maintenance straight away to fix the issue. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Loads of swimming pools to choose from we spent the majority of the week around the adults pool but did use the activity pool on occasions as well. All pools had plenty of sun-loungers and felt good knowing you didn't have to get up at silly o'clock to reserve your bed for the day. The infinity pool bar also served delicious frozen cocktails. Staff are all very friendly with a variety of different activities taking place throughout the day. We enjoyed taking part in the water carpet game with Nerea which was a laugh for all of us. We saw 2 shows whilst here carnival and imox both were very good shows with very talented dancers, acrobats and singers. Would highly recommend booking. Variety of different food on offer daily in the buffet restaurant at breakfast and dinner. We used the snack bar mostly at lunchtime which the food was very tasty. We visited all 3 a'la cartes during our stay and food was very good in all the only downfall being the steak in the Ladon was quite chewy and fatty and even with a steak knife was hard to cut. A special mention to Nerea who worked so hard in the entertainment team and always had a smile on her face.

  Average.

  Aesthetic's of the hotel and pools is stunning! Buffet food is average for an all inclusive expected more for 5* not much choice for fussy children and there’s not children’s entertainment on the evenings, plenty of entertainment around the pools in the day though, al a carte restaurant food was amazing! The hotel locations isn’t in the best location pretty far from anything to do on the outside of the hotel and required a 30 minute taxi to get to the town and beaches. Overall experience was lovely but wouldn’t return to hotel purely due to the kids entertainment on the evening as my children like to be active and do things and we found that we was just sat in the lobby bar every night with very bored children.

  Lovely week with family

  Just returned from 7 nights at this lovely hotel with my family including 4 & 6 year old grandchildren My family came here last year and enjoyed it so much they booked again and invited me too this time! Their only slightly negativity was the food quality wasn't as good as last year. I however couldn't fault the food, plenty of selection at each meal time and was replenished regularly. Rooms were amazing, great size, spotless and cleaned each day. Staff all friendly and I cant praise the lifeguards enough around the children's slide pool when my grandson took a slip on the stairs. The guy was straight over with his 1st aid kit and let the reception know what happened. Luckily just a small cut and glued back together at the local hospital. Plenty of sun loungers no need to rush at 7am to reserve any and the pools accommodated for all ages with the pool bar providing some lovely slush cocktails especially the pina colada. I've seen some comments about the lifts but I found these to be fine, and could get to floor 6 from all the ones we used. We saw 2 shows carnival and the imox ,both fantastic and very talented artists well worth a booking. I would definitely say the resort is geared more to families and I wouldn't personally come here as a couple but thoroughly enjoyed the week with family

  Not too bad at all

  Have to start by saying, it’s a lovely hotel. Jack on reception great guy, juan Carlos in the sports bar great guy. Staff are all very good and polite, even the cleaners make an effort to say hello. Food. Not five star you’d expect, just average. Breakfast takes an age to get, sometimes even stuff running out every morning and not replenished, no glasses all the time for juices too, the Italian paridiso very good had the lasagne and was lovely! Ladon the steak restaurant, below average steak just tasted of water not like beef at all. Was very looking forward to this. The snack bar on level s2 very good snack food had this mostly for lunch as was nicer than what was going on in the restaurant. Pools and sunbeds absolutely brilliant staff down the pool cleaning all the time, no need to rush for sunbeds plenty about. Drinks, okay as you’d expect in an all inclusive nice alcohol slushes especially mojito. Be careful on a lot of the plastic cups are dirty just wash them out first. Take you a while to figure out the lifts, very small and waiting ages for them a lot of walking round the hotel and waiting for the lifts, the amount of people in the hotel you’d think they’d have been a bit better. We needed late check out as we had a late flight I went down and asked and was told no rooms not possible, but had baby with us still told Not possible, my partner then went down and she was told they could give us a room so I don’t really know why I was told no in the first place maybe he couldn’t be bothered. If the food was better for a five star, cups were cleaner food was replenished quicker I’d deffo give it a five. This is just a completely honest review, it’s a lovely hotel but just a few things I wasn’t too pleased with along the way, I just think the price you pay for it and it being five star it should be spot on, thank you.

  A lovely 4 nights

  Before you click 'book' please bear in mind that this is a family hotel that massively caters to families with children, particularly small children. If you dont want to spend your holiday surrounded by the sound of kids, this is not the place for you! I travelled as a 40 year-old single female and understood this when I booked. Due to the fact that this is a child-friendly resort, I knew that plastic drinkwear was necessary in the pool areas, so I spent most of my time at the main bar near reception where I could get all of the inclusive drinks, including some lovely cocktails (the white russians were delicious), served in real, adult glasses. There were always plenty of seats available outside, some in the sun and others in the shade. The bar is air conditioned if you do need to get out of the heat. I also read the tips that suggested bringing your own drinking vessels for the self-serve drinks. I brought a water bottle and I'm so glad I did. I applaud the lack of single use plastic but I can understand some people's disappointment at the reusable tumblers provided which were usually wet and sometimes a little grotty... it didn't stop me using them for the occasional slush mind (and I didn't d!e!). Overall, I'd say this is a very strong 4* hotel. Small things let it down, like not being provided with dressing gowns, the subpar drinks (the wine was just bearable and no spirits were premium) and the amount of noise that came through my window! The buffet was, generally, good but I completely agree with people who say the food is luke-warm. I didn't bother with the Dream Factory snack bar, it's like a fast food type of place where you placed your order using a touch screen. It didn't fill me with confidence about the quality of food. However, it did offer plastic wine glasses so you can drink wine by the pool in something other than a tumbler! I had a junior, sea-view suite, which was beautiful and very spacious but a family of 3 or 4 would need more hangers! Same problem most people have everywhere. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gell were available in the shower along with moisturiser in the bathroom. The mini bar offered 2 cans of lager, 3 cans of pop and 2 cartons of fruit juice. There were also 2 large bottles of water in the room. All of the drinks were replenished daily. On another note, this is not a beachfront hotel, its on a cliff. The sea views are very nice and, if you're up early enough and the sky is clear, you might get to see a lovely sunrise. I was here over a long weekend - Friday and Saturday night were both noisy from other hotels on the island. Take earplugs! Despite the small issues, I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 nights here and would book again. Take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt.
