A holiday to remember!
We visited Bel Jou with high expectations and we were not disappointed. The hotel is in a great location close enough to the beach and Castries town. Being on a steep hill the views from the hotel are breathtaking both during the day and at night. We stayed in a garden bungalow room although it needs a bit of updating was spacious and clean with a queen sized bed. The staff were fantastic welcoming and warm and tended to our every request, always friendly and polite. Jahfree the aquarobics instructor delivered the aquarobics class every morning making it fun even when rain interrupted it. He also turned into the hotel DJ at night! The entertainment at night was good fun and staff members like Princess joined in the dancing with guests. Sam the manager of the Hummingbird Restaurant was fabulous and showed us how a professional restaurant should be run. Azard, Mikey, Machran, Kimani,Kasha and Karisa all helped to make this a dream holiday. Earl the excursions rep is definitely one of the first people to meet when you arrive. The food was fabulous and so were the cocktails! The best holiday I’ve had so far and can’t wait to back but not during the rainy season!

Brilliant Hotel and Enjoyable Stay
Dana was superb. She was able to deal with an issue caused by a lack of communication from the tour operator. Very appreciated, Dana! The relaxed ambience, the view of Castries from the hotel, the lush plants surrounding the hotel added to the delight of each day. The Chef’s team has to get a mention and a big ‘Thank You’. The food was appreciated. I especially loved the local food: cream of wheat. Hmmm. Breadfruit. Yes. Guava and Papaya. I was pleasantly surprised to have the most delicious rum soaked black cake. If I could bottle it and take it home. I had to hit the gym almost every day to ensure I could continue to fit into my clothes. We had a great time at this hotel. All staff were friendly and attentive and worked hard to ensure our stay was hassle free. Hey Princes and the team! We chose Bel Jou because of the many positive reviews. We would definitely return to this hotel without hesitation.

Превосходный отель
My stay at Bel Jou Hotel (adults only) was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and friendliness made us feel welcome and cared for. They were always ready to assist, ensuring that every aspect of our vacation was perfect. The hotel boasts several pools, daily activities such as yoga, pilates, water sports, lively parties, and entertainment that kept us engaged and relaxed throughout our stay. The spa is simply fantastic—my massage was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.All meals are included, with a variety of fresh dishes served at multiple on-site restaurants catering to every taste. We enjoyed unlimited drinks and appreciated the cozy coffee shop where freshly brewed coffee was available all day long. Our spacious room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle every hour to the most beautiful beach with pristine waters and stunning views. Guests have access to free sunbeds on the beach, making it easy to relax and soak up the sun. There’s also a complimentary shuttle to the city center for exploring nearby attractions. The breathtaking scenery, wonderful staff, full relaxation, delicious food, sea, and sunshine made our experience truly special. The hotel exceeded all our expectations and provided everything needed for an amazing holiday. We chose it to celebrate my birthday, and I was absolutely delighted—receiving birthday wishes and surprises made it even more memorable. We will definitely return and highly recommend Bel Jou Hotel as one of the most wonderful places to unwind and enjoy life’s pleasures.

Beautiful bel jou
Stayed at this lovely boutique hotel from 6/5/25 until 20/5/25 After the 2 hour journey which to be honest was OK nice to see more of st lucia a lot of hills but great views as well. On arrival at belle jou which also sits at the top of a hill we were quickly shown to a room by reception and given our card and room number 705. The rooms are lovely and spacious and patio doors looked over the swimming pool on the top floor. Their is also a kidney shaped pool on the ground floor. There was plenty of sunbeds while we were there. We preferred the smaller pool . We found the food to be very good and varied and the wine was also much nicer than most all inclusive hotels. Their is a snack bar lulu's cabana which also did really nice meals.their is a coffee shop which did lovely cookies and some pastries throughout the day we liked to sit and watch the beautiful humming birds going to and from their bird feeder. On a Thursday Their is a barbecue and a steel band with local dancers followed by fire eaters and some limbo girls who were so good. A couple of days a week jaffray who does the aqua aerobics does a lighthouse walk and a beach power walk. This guy is so knowledgeable of the history etc and he's also incredibly funny when doing his Arobics. Their is a restaurant within the complex called the humming bird which you can book at reception we went a couple of times and found it very nice just something different from the evening buffet. We were lucky to be there for their mothers day party absolutely fantastic the amount of thought that went into this it was so good. We found the manager Dean totally approachable he was always walking around talking to guests (nice to see) The staff we met during our stay were ALL so lovely cannot remember all of their names but a few were jem.sam.princess.jaffray.natori.verkessa.sherlorne.kishna.brendan.tinker. these guys plus all of the ones not mentioned do an amazing job and really look as though they are happy in their work. Their is also a shuttle bus which runs most days which takes you into castries and the beach ..unfortunately the weather didn't behave very well but we did manage a few hours most days. Would I return to this hotel you bet I would definitely but maybe a bit earlier on the year.

Anniversary Vacation
Our 1st time to St. Lucia and we really enjoyed our stay. Bel Jou has absolutely amazing views and beautiful sunsets. This was the 1st resort, and we have stayed at many that actually recognized our anniversary. We go away every May to celebrate. We enjoyed a bottle of sparkling wine on ice when we entered our room and our A La Carte table was strewn with petals. A very nice touch indeed. Our room was very spacious, oceanview amazing, bed and pillows so comfy. Kept spotlessly clean! Only thing we found odd was you had to buy water. 1$ at reception. Really? Not 5* for sure. You can fill your bottle up at the self-serve bar anytime. Food and drink were plentiful and tasty. You will not go hungry. No papaya served all week. Something I really look forward to on the islands. The lamb curry and bakes were a favorite. The A la Carte was nice but we only went once. The Rooftop Bar has amazing views all around. Shuttle to the beach was simple to book and quick to get there. Dean the hotel manager is a delight and was our shuttle driver twice! Most staff are eager to please and helpful. Brendan was a stand out for us. Ordered once and he never forgot! Some bartenders need to remember a smile goes a long way. The stairs aren't too much. We managed just fine. We only went to the lower pool a couple of times. The self serve bar is very convenient and has a bit of everything. Plenty of loungers but of course you get the rude towel people who pick loungers at 6am and never come back. They actually did not come back until after the pool closed at 6pm. Vigie Beach is a gem! We loved it. Got the first shuttle there and the last one back. A bit rough at some points in the day so be careful. Plenty of places along the beach to get a cold beer or a bite to eat. Bel Jou has loungers all set up for guests along with drinks and snacks if you care to purchase them. 3$ for a freezing cold Piton, so worth it! St. Lucia is beautiful with beautiful people everywhere. The island is the cleanest we have ever been to. Some have mountains of garbage in the streets. Which is so sad. We are happy we went but will move on to our next island in the Fall. Thank you for all the memories made.
