Andres made the trip amazing. The resort wouldn't be great without him l. He gets you whatever you need and always is pleasant. Multiple times he brought a chess set from home for us to play. All while serving everyone else at the beach bar.

This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Upon checking in we're told we should drag our own luggage to our rooms a substantial distance due to the amount of people checking in. After returning to our room after a quick bite at a less than mediocre buffet we found our patio door lock was not working and anyone could have had access to our room. In addition after requesting a double for my grown son and I, we were given a king size bed. The only alternative we're given is to pay for an upgraded room. We're shocked to find the pool closes at 7pm in the prime of winter. And then after heading to the buffet which is quite a distance to our room we're told we cannot enter due to our attire (swimsuit top and tanktop) although nothing was told to us about a dress code. At the time it was too late to get back to our room to change and no other food options we're available. Although staff had been extremely nice, this experience has been horrible. I would strongly recommend looking for an alternative. Note: a manager did say he would order dinner to our room at no charge. I will update my review as out stay continues.

The kids club has been fantastic!! Water balloons, sand castles, and a pool with a slide made it a great experience for my little!

Terrible service for families
Ramiro in the main buffet was very rude to me and my family when we visited from the pool for lunch and my 5 year old daughter was very hungry and eating already. My cloths were went and he came to me speaking Spanish thinking I understand without even asking me what language I speak. This hotel has very little understanding of a family’s need when they add a dress code to the main buffet and they don’t even assign people to hel families wig young kids to special kid and went friendly chairs which I’ve been told they have . Very very disappointed. Never coming back here

Resort is okay, VIP staff is FANTASTIC
The resort definitely needs some work. But Andrea’s is by far one of the biggest reasons we come back every year. He’s very attentive, friendly, personable, and truly cares about his staff and members. He’s gone above and beyond for us if we’ve ever had any issues, and keeps in touch throughout the year in between trips. We also love Daniel in the breakfast buffet by the beach!
