Great experience for a solo traveler
I came for a solo trip over July 4th holiday week. The resort itself is a bit small but it’s right in the heart of the marina so if you want to walk around and see some of the downtown area and venture to local bars, clubs and restaurants - the location can’t be beat. The pool area is beautiful with great views of the sea and marina. The DJs were great and kept the larger pool very lively. They had a nice infinity pool in another area for those that want a quieter area. I loved boom which was the coffee shop - the pastries were good and they can whip up so many different coffee drinks. The food at the restaurants was ok - but I parricularly enjoyed Bites. Breakfasts were great - I had both the buffet and the breakfast at bites. The one thing that really stood out was the impeccable service at all the restaurants - the staff were phenomenal and beyond accommodating. I have a shellfish allergy which is challenging but every where I went they asked about my allergies and make sure I was taken care of. It was great to eat without having to worry about cross contamination - especially in a foreign country. The staff were exceptional - from the waitstaff to the hostesses, to the bartenders. Carolina And Enrique at bites were particularly accommodating and make you feel like family. I couldn’t say enough great things about them and the rest of the staff at the resort. I booked a sailing excursion through Amstar who were onsite. It was probably my favorite day of my stay. I highly recommend some local activities. As I mentioned the resort is on the smaller side so if you are staying multiple days you might want to venture out. The room was a nice size and over looked the marina. It could be a little noisy with the boats just below but not enough to cause any major disturbance in my opinion. I met such wonderful guests during my stay a well. Everyone was so friendly. Overall I had a great experience at breathless!

Adults Only Should Be Over 40.
The room was very clean. The refrigerator and water was never replaced during our stay. The program said it was unlimited but it was never replaced. This was the most noticeable deficiency. The entertainment crew were awesome. Very personable and talented. The service at the pools were excellent, especially Rodrigo! The service at Spoons breakfast was outstanding, especially Patricia and Alejandro. The service at the restaurants was very average and the meal selection was not very good. We have been to a dozen all-inclusives, and these restaurants were very disappointing.
