We had the opportunity to spend a lot of time at Breathless while staying at Secrets earlier this month, as well as at New Years. The staff at Breathless is superb. They always make us feel welcome and give us lots of attention. We were happy to experience Bare Buns, Altitude, Fishnets, the breakfast buffet, and Culinaria, with the latter being our favourite meal this time. The servers are exceptional and bar tenders made our drinks to perfection. We love the entertainment here. Samii Jo, Red Stripe, Teejay, and others always go out of their way to ensure we are having the best time. We were able to enjoy the evening at The Oscars and it was a lot of fun. Friday is Jamaica Day and we absolutely love the party at the pool with Kerine and Jerome singing. We can’t wait to visit again on our next trip.

Perfect romantic vacation!
The best thing about this resort is you have the ability to choose the type of vacation you want. If you want a quiet, romantic vacation, just stay tucked away in your room with your own private pool, spend the day relaxing at the rooftop pool, or at the Breathless Beach with no crowds or loud partiers. If you want the party atmosphere, hang out at the main pool with the swim up bar, or at the Secrets side of the resort. There are plenty of activities and other guests to keep you entertained. Whatever you do, do not miss the view from the roof. It is one of the most breathtaking views anywhere in the world. The rooms: We stayed in one of the three large swim-out suites the resort has to offer. It is one of my favorite rooms we have every stayed in (and we travel quite often). Our butlers, Olivia, Travis, and butler-in-training Troy, were spectacular. Top notch service. Housekeeping was outstanding, our room was always cool, clean, and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The food: Very good. Do not miss lunch at the Barefoot Buns grill at the Breathless Beach. It is fabulous. The steamed fish is an absolute must try (and I don't normally like fish, but it is just that delicious!) My husband's favorite lunch spot was Altitude on the roof - the lollipop chicken was terrific - just the right amount of spice to give it a kick. We enjoyed room service for breakfast - perfect timing and everything made exactly to order. Do go to the breakfast buffet at least once, though; it has a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar. The Italian Restaurant, I think its Portofino, was also very good. The service: Absolutely Rocks! The bartenders at the swim up bar, Noble and Theo, kept the drinks flowing and were so energetic and fun. Everyone at the resort has the best attitude and truly want to make your stay with them spectacular; from the concierge service and bell service to the bartenders and restaurant servers, everyone is always smiling, happy, and ready to make your day even better than the one before! The spa: Wonderful. We enjoyed a couples massage. They have a whole routine to try - steam room, sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge pool. FYI, wear your swimsuit to the spa for the routine (wasn't aware until after we arrived and had to go back for mine, but it was worth it). Ladies there are terrific! There may be some negative reviews out there. Could the resort as a whole use some updating? Absolutely. Did it bother us? Not one bit. My only negative thing to say is this: skip the sales pitch at the beginning of your stay. That upset me a bit. Otherwise, this was the perfect romantic vacation.

Nothing short of perfect!
What can I say about this beautiful place? Everything was on point. Having stay at Secret’s St James a few years back, we thought we’d bring our friends back and try Breathless and boy, I was not disappointed. Dare I say; I preferred it here. The entertainment team were the ones that changed my experience here. They were nothing short of AMAZING. The energy they bought daily (day and night), honestly hats off to them. Huge shoutout to Kai, Quban, Knaz, Tequila, Ixia, Reika ,Red Stripe, TJ, DJ Stainless and DJ Deno - we love you and we’ll be back. To the hotel management, these guys deserve a raise (and they didn’t ask me to write any of this!) We opted for the Xhale Room and our butlers, Olivia and Travis were awesome too! To anyone wondering where to book - Secrets vs Breathless. I’d say Breathless all day!

Amazing hotel
A fantastic hotel with outstanding facilities, exceptional food, and drinks. Our butlers—Olivia, Shane, and Rory—were incredible, going above and beyond to make our holiday truly special. They were attentive, proactive, and kept in constant communication with us throughout the day. I highly recommend this hotel, especially as guests here have access to Secrets, while Secrets guests don’t have access to Breathless. This creates a more relaxed, chilled atmosphere at Breathless, making it feel less crowded and more exclusive.

Breathless Montego Bay Delivered Perfection— Huqqa Service and Performance Was Top-Notch!
My stay at Breathless Montego Bay was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the resort exceeded all expectations. The property was spotlessly clean, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well taken care of. Their friendliness and attention to detail truly stood out. The vibe was perfect for our group, and the entertainment team kept the energy high with lively and fun parties—everyone had an amazing time. On our last night, we met the Huqqa Team, and they made the evening unforgettable. The Huqqa service was exceptional—entertaining, high-quality, and delivered with such flair. It was the second-best Huqqa performance we’ve ever experienced, second only to what we’ve seen in the Middle East. My wife, who loves Shisha, was absolutely thrilled! The experience was so incredible that another couple in our group has already decided to change their upcoming trip to Breathless Montego Bay. We’re all planning to return next month, and I can’t wait to book our stay again. We want our discount. Huge thanks to the Huqqa Team, the Entertainment Team, and the entire staff at Breathless Montego Bay for making our trip unforgettable.
