We had a fabulous time! The waiters and waitresses at Mayden were also very friendly.
Emilio, Carlos, and Chema were fantastic. They greeted us with smiles, got our seats at the beach set up, and made sure our umbrellas kept us shaded.

Beautiful Location, But Serious Service and Security Issues
I stayed at Casa Dorada for a friend’s vow renewal and had high expectations based on their past experiences—but unfortunately, my stay didn’t live up to the hype. The one-bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, but missing expected amenities like a robe and slippers (I had to call to request them). More concerning was a broken lock on the bedroom terrace door, which required a maintenance visit to fix. Security was very lax throughout the stay. Cruise ship tour groups were frequently led through the property, and staff rarely checked if people leaving or entering were actually guests. This lack of oversight made me uncomfortable. Worse, a friend in another room was walked in on by a male housekeeper while she was stepping out of the shower. She was fully exposed and screamed—but the staff offered no real apology or meaningful resolution. The only response was to suspend housekeeping for her room, which felt dismissive and unacceptable. Food was just okay, though Emilio at the pool and Johan at the Maydan restaurant were both excellent—friendly and helpful. Casa Dorada is in a lively location if you like to be near the action, but given the lack of privacy, inconsistent service, and safety concerns, I wouldn’t choose to return.

Dont do it!
Decent hotel rooms but you're going to get nickle and dimed for literally everything and the service doesn't match. The free coffee you get from the lobby at most hotels from the little pump....$4 here. You'll also get to enjoy jackhammering at 11pm from the construction across the street. The front desk just said it's not on their property so they cant do anything about it. Well, I hope you understand no one in this hotel is ever coming back and I hope everyone reads this and understands there are tons of better choices in Cabo. 1 drinking water fountain to refill bottles on the entire property in the gym. Thats it!Good luck hunting down the ice machine too. The pool bar is expensive and heard from a few other patrons that they were being charged for drinks they never had. We watched a lady argue with them for over an hour. At some point you think customer service would step in for a resolution but nope, they sat there and yelled at each other. Seriously wild experience. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this place.

Great location and excellent service!
Wonderful spot in Cabo, close to everything with a swimmable beach. Location is walkable to the port and all the nightlife. Every single staff member was attentive and friendly, as an English speaking family that was a plus. Special shoutout to Joel at the pool bar, he was on point bringing drinks and food and giving us last call on all the happy hours during the day!
