Amazing, can’t wait to return!!
Just got back from an amazing stay at Coconut Bay! Celebrated my birthday and Mother’s Day here for a few days, although I wish we stayed longer. We arrived to a coconut rum punch and cold towels upon arrival. Octavia at the front desk was the sweetest! She checked us in and checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we were satisfied with everything! The hotel does include an airport shuttle too! There are truly things for all ages here.. Several pools — adults only and family friendly, a Waterpark with 2 water slides and a lazy river, bars, several restaurants to choose from, bands, and activities each day. You can also book excursions at their desk — we did the horseback riding which was great and nearby, getting to go along the beach and along the cliffs! The hotel is on the beach however it is not the nicer side of the island for swimming. There is too much seaweed and it didn’t seem the hotel could keep up with the cleanup of it as there is just so much. If you’re looking for more beach swimming, the hotel does offer complementary shuttle to a nearby beach but only if they deem it an “unswimmable” day and sign up the day before you want to go. Or you can stay on the west side of the island with better waters.. We LOVED the food. We only ate at the buffet style restaurant because we didn’t want to leave their amazing foods!! Every meal was delicious and they have tonsss of options. All staff were exceptional, helpful, friendly, and fun! Our rooms weren’t serviced as often as we’d like but if you call for anything you need they’ll bring it up to you quickly. I enjoyed their spa as well for my birthday. I got the Aloe wrap with full body massage with Dana — she is excellent!!! They were even very accommodating in changing what I had booked since I needed something to help with my sunburn! They were very sweet to do that :) The hotel had several bands, singers, performers and we even were there for Caribbean night on Saturday where they had carnival themed performers on the stage. There are paint classes, water aerobics, a fitness center, just tons of things to do!! The hotel is on the south side of the island, literally a 5 minute drive from the airport where most other hotels are over an hour away. This is gonna be a much calmer side of the island in the south compared to the “downtown” northern side where the other hotels are, so it just depends what you prefer but they made it very lively and fun! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

Very nice resort - great food.
We take a girls trip every year and this year we chose Coconut Bay Resort. Overall, it was a very pleasant trip. The plane trip was uneventful for us, despite the quick layover. Customs and Immigration at St. Lucia was ok, did not take that long. Make sure you have the immigration papers completed before you leave - you can do them 72 hours prior to departure. Once you get past all of the immigration, you are put in a big room with multiple resort desks, finding Coconut Bay's area was easy. The host found a transfer right away and the resort is 5 minutes away. The resort is at the bottom of the island, away from where cruise ships dock and shopping and restaurants. It is on the Atlantic side, so the water is rougher than the Caribbean side. Upon arrival to the resort, you are greeted with a fresh washcloth and a small drink. The sign-in process was easy, everything was ready for us and we went to the bar to get a drink and they took our luggage to the rooms. The staff was great, friendly, willing to help and very polite. Our room attendant Rose made us towel animals everyday and left us sweet, inspirational notes. We were on the adults only side, Harmony and it was great. We were on the third floor, we didn't have the Concierge level (4th floor). The view was nice - we had the ocean view. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are a fair size. I know they have been renovating some of the rooms and we had one that was newer. One of the best things about the resort is the food. Some of the restaurants require a reservation, we learned from other reviews to make them as soon as we arrived. The buffet is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is some of the best food we have eaten at any resort. The wait staff is very attentive. We ate at several of the restaurants besides the buffet, and the food was superior also. They have a very nice coffee and tea bar that is available 24/7, I believe. The pools are very nice, they only have 2 that are really adult only. Children are allowed in the big pools. The Splash side (family side) pool has a great area for children and a swim up bar for the adults - the other pools do not have swim up bars, but the bars are close by and occasionally the staff will come and take your orders. They do have a cafe called "Flip Flops" that serve pool side pizza, hamburgers, wraps etc., so you don't have to go to the buffet for lunch. Also on the family side is the water slides and the lazy river. There were some unruly children in the lazy river when we tried to go over, but we waited and they finally left. They do have a special play area for children - I'm not sure what age it goes to. We went to the beach but unfortunately Sargassum algae is in full bloom and difficult to swim. The resort works tirelessly to clean the beaches but the stuff keeps coming in. The downside to the beach is that it is a walk or you have to wait on a golf cart to take you. They do have a bar at the beach which is great and they do have shade, chairs and towels. They have a small hut that makes a hamburger, fish sandwich or veggie burger from 11-2 but no other food on the beach side. You can rent a cabana but we found plenty of grass umbrellas to keep us out of the sun. The resort has two themed nights with buffet dinners and entertainment - Country Western and Caribbean Carnival nights. The shows are great. Obviously not too many people got the memo on the attire - there were very few dressed in country attire and only a few more in Caribbean. We took a tour of the island from Grasshopper tours (not associated with resort) - had a private boat and a tour guide who lived his whole life on the island. Gave us the local version. We went to Sugar beach and did some snorkeling, not overly impressed with the snorkeling - lots of boats coming in and out. They do have an area roped off but the snorkeling is much better at other islands. Sugar beach has a private resort on it and despite the name Sugar, the sand is not real white. If you are not staying at the resort, you can't access any of the food or drink services and with the tour groups you are place on the rocky side of the beach with a few chairs. The most disappointment of the tour. If you get car sick, take some dramamine, the roads are windy and hilly. With the Grasshopper tours, it was nice because we could stay longer at an area or leave when we wanted. The resort tours are packed with people. They are on the boat longer than we were - we were driven to Soufrerie and got on the boat there and it took us to Sugar Beach. There is a local market that is set up a couple days a week - it's overpriced for the items they sell but it's easier than getting a cab to take you to the market in Castries. The sellers bargain alittle and the items are found throughout the island at all different prices. One of the sellers gave me a different price every time I passed by his table and asked about an item. Check out was easy - but be aware of government charges must be paid - it may have been in the information I had- I just never saw it. The airport is a mess regarding long lines and small areas. We got there 3 hours ahead of time and waited in long lines. All the planes, Delta, United, Tui, British Airways are all leaving around the same time - so everyone is there waiting and it's hot. The only negative we can say about the resort is the Wi-fi. The only place there is wi-fi is in your room and in the lobby. That does make it hard to communicate with your friends but we managed! We have used the "Whats App" on previous trips to communicate with each other but really couldn't use on this trip. We didn't want to use our cellular service. Overall - it is a nice resort and an overall good experience. We will go back and have been recommending it to several of our friends and family!

St. Lucia has my heart
If you’re looking for a genuinely great time book at Coconut Bay! Here is my review below according to my recent stay 5/7/25-5/12/25 1) The staff are so accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the property and any questions I had. You will be greeted by warm smiles daily. 2) The food is amazing! I am of Carribean descent so I was loving the Jerk Treehouse restaurant especially. The Coconut Walk’s food is great if you’re looking for a variety. Mary D at the omelette station made me a western omelette each morning. There are also fresh juices and smoothie available. The reserved restaurants were awesome as well. The only complaint I have is I was too full to finish my meal most nights. The food and options are endless! 3) The alcohol is strong! Rum is 80 proof so pace yourself especially under the hot St. Lucian sun! The mixed drinks were my favorite and refreshing after a hot day. Marz, Kevin, and Eran were the best bartenders. Great a energy! 4) I originally used Viator to book my excursions but I cancelled and decided to book through the resort instead. The prices are reasonable and the experience was a 10/10! Do the land & sea tour and the sunset cruise they were both top tier experiences! 5) The facilities are clean. I observed the staff cleaning around the clock! 6) I booked the Splash side which is for families and kids and I was apprehensive at first not knowing if it would be noisy but complete opposite. It was super quiet and the most lively area in my opinion. There are daily contests, entertainment, music and fun for the kiddos + famalies. 7) Overall, I give Coconut Bay 5 stars. I am already booking my next trip. One tip I leave you with is to research prior to your trip. It helps to have somewhat of an itinerary to maximize your vacation. Enjoy!

Couple from Powhatan VA
I went on Travelocity to book my husband and I yearly tropical island getaway. After lots of research I came across Coconut Bay and chose the resort based on the reviews. The resort did not disappoint. It exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived the staff was warm and welcoming. Our room was super spacious and clean with an island vibe decor. Loved that everyone has a balcony and ocean view. The meals were delicious. We did the morning breakfast at the main cafe, lunch at flip flops or jerk chicken which was top notch. Our evenings we made reservation at all their restaurants. Silk was our favorite. Loved the activities throughout the day that the entertainment staff leads. The bubbles at splash pool was a blast. Caribbean and Country night were great for gathering the whole resort together. Loved that the resort had the Splash family friendly side and Harmony the adult only side. We enjoyed both sides equally. Their private beach which can be accessed by either walking or complimentary golf cart ride was the highlight of relaxation for us. The Tiki bar and snack shack were perfect for a day at the beach. We did the 2 hour horseback ride and island tour excursions that you sign up for at the resort. Highly recommend both. We will definitely be back one day.

An Exceptional Week
We arrived in St Lucia May 1-7th. The airport is small and easy to navigate. Outside we found the Coconut Bay station we waited less than 5 minutes until the resort provided transportation picked us up and with in minutes we were at the resort which is close proximity to the airport. Immediately we noticed the friendliness of the staff. We were greeted at the Check In desk by Kiandra. Kiandra displayed professionalism but was also kind and funny. Not just at check in but throughout the week she was always helping not only us but others as well. The only negative aspect of the week was the extreme amount of sargassum that had came in the week of our stay. Kiandra even called our room to inform us of the optional shuttle to a beach located on the western side of the island. The staff in general at Coconut Bay was always helpful, friendly and kind. Dee, the bartender at the adult tiki hut was extremely friendly and accomodating to not only our needs and request but to all other guest. Rose our housekeeper in the Harmony section did an exceptional job everyday with our room. She left an inspirational and encouraging hand written note daily- during your stay hopefully you will be fortunate to have these same ladies help make your trip as pleasant as ours. The daily Buffet always had a variety of selections to choose from. Breakfast was always excellent. During the week the buffet was served at poolside with one night a Caribbean theme and the other was Country Western. Both the food and entertainment was phenomenal . Poolside Flip Flops (11a-6p) had great wings and excellent pizza, burgers, fries and variety of wraps etc. Overall our stay was great! Our room in the Harmony wing had been recently renovated and had a fantastic view. Staff was exceptional and extremely friendly and accomodating from the very beginning until the end of our stay. If we chose to return to St Lucia we would definitely stay here again.
